Snack Town Fall Fest is one month away!

Join us for our second signature Snack Town event taking place Saturday, September 14 from 1 PM to 6 PM on Moul Field. The 1st Annual Snack Town Fall Fest, presented by Campbell's, Iron Lion, & Utz Snacks, will be a one-day festival filled with food, drink, and craft vendors, beer and cocktails, live music, activities for kids, and more! Additionally, Snack Town Fall Fest will feature the 20th Anniversary of Rocky 98.5's Battle of the Bands! Come out and watch as three bands from south-central Pennsylvania bring their best musical performances and compete for the grand prize of $3000 and an invite to play at Iron Lion.

York County is celebrating its 275th Anniversary!

Check out how York County will be celebrating this weekend. Festivities include a block party on Saturday, August 17th at WellSpan Park, a community celebration at Appell Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, August 18th, and a ceremonial bell ringing across the county on Monday, August 19th.

We were honored to recently welcome Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) to the Hanover area for a tour of Hanover Auto Team . While there, he engaged with staff, toured their facility, and learned about their newly approved Automotive Technician Specialist Apprenticeship Program. The Hanover Chamber is proud to have partnered with Hanover Auto Team to help get this program approved, which is already creating new opportunities for members of our community. Thank you to Congressman Smucker for all that he’s doing in Washington, D.C. to help support and grow these types of apprenticeship programs!

The 2024 BLOOM Grant Program is now open for applications! From Monday, July 22, at 8 AM to Monday, August 12th at 8 PM, small businesses can apply for grants ranging from $500 to $1,500.

Grant criteria includes (but is not limited to):

- Lighting improvements; safety upgrades both interior and exterior
- Space expansions/renovations
- Material improvements to the business that would expand growth, business services, and business opportunity and/or make a positive impact onthe overall local business environment.
- Business upgrades and adjustments related to COVID-19 recovery.
- Expenses related to marketing or advertising

Hanover and surrounding communities are continuing to experiencing power outages affecting both businesses and residents due to last night's storms. Crews worked through the night to restore power to many customers and their work is ongoing. No estimated times of restoration (ETRs) have been established yet as crews are still making work assessments.

A huge thank you to the providers and local municipalities for their tireless efforts in cleaning up debris and working swiftly to restore power. Please stay safe and patient as crews continue their hard work.
