We had a great Wine Down Wednesday Social yesterday with live music from Pianist Jeannie! 🍷 It was such a lovely afternoon relaxing and unwinding with friends. Cheers to good company!

We hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July! We had an amazing time celebrating this weekend with festive activities and wonderful company. A huge thanks to all who joined us and made it extra special! 🇺🇸🎆

🇺🇸 Our decor committee had a blast making cute patriotic centerpieces for the 4th of July! We also enjoyed Italian ice popsicles afterward, making it a perfect afternoon. 🍧

Today was our first annual Star Spangled Banner Choir Concert with our music therapist, Allison! It was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed the patriotic tunes and the amazing sense of community. 🎵🇺🇸

Today, we want to celebrate all of our residents who have a June birthday! 🎉🎂 May this year be filled with joy, laughter, and wonderful moments.

For our June , we would like you to meet Billie.

Billie is one of our sweetest residents! She has such a caring nature and is always willing to lend a helping hand to her fellow residents. Whether it's assisting during activities or simply offering a listening ear, Billie's genuine concern for others leaves a lasting impact on everyone around her.

She says that one thing she loves about The Blake is the activities. Some of her favorite activities include beachball volleyball and exercise classes.

Fun Fact: When she's not joining activities, she enjoys staying connected with friends and family through FaceTime. Also, her favorite color is blue!

Billie has brought so much life to The Blake, and we are so lucky to have her!

🌺🏝️ Our Annual Luau was an absolute blast! 🍍🔥 From mouthwatering island-inspired cuisine to mesmerizing live performances, it was a true tropical paradise. 🌟 Huge thanks to everyone who joined in on the fun and made it a wonderful celebration!

Nothing beats a lovely courtyard picnic with freshly made peach lemonade! Enjoying the sunshine and good company made it a perfect day. 🍑🍋

Yesterday, we paused to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. May their courage and selflessness never be forgotten. ❤🤍💙

Aimee has lived at The Blake since 2021 and has become loved by everyone here. She has such a bright smile and is super friendly to everyone.

She says that one thing she loves about The Blake is the people. Aimee cherishes all the friends she has made here and enjoys participating in our various craft classes.

If there is one piece of advice she could give, it would be to spend time and laugh with family as much as you can.

Over the weekend, we had a great time enjoying the Kentucky Derby! 🐎🌹 We enjoyed delicious drinks, treats, and more. It was such a great afternoon filled with fun and excitement!
