Mrs. Corrie has a NEW course debuting this fall! The Intermediate and Advanced Painting Class will be an 8-week course for students who already have a foundational understanding of painting skills and concepts and feel comfortable working with acrylic paints.

The course aims to enhance painting skills by reinforcing technical knowledge and improving the application of concepts such as color theory, composition, and perspective. Students will explore traditional techniques and analyze renowned artworks to further their artistic development and own unique style.

Experience with painting is a prerequisite. Students who have taken Mrs. Corrie's Intro to Painting or Elements of Art courses are great candidates for this upper-level course.

Space is limited and spots will go quickly- 50% payment secures your child's spot!
Class runs during the same time as Mr. Andrew’s PE class, perfect for families with multiple children!

Physical Education Class: “Move, Play, and Explore”

Age Range: Kindergarten to 6th Grade

Dates:September 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Thursdays: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Fee: $80 per child

Join us for an engaging and dynamic Physical Education class designed to inspire a lifelong love for movement. “Move, Play, and Explore” is tailored to help children develop and refine essential movement skills through a mix of fun, purposeful, and cooperative activities. Our program emphasizes:

Skill Development: Enhancing basic movement skills through various exercises and activities.

Supportive Games and Sports: Reinforcing skills in an enjoyable and meaningful way.

Basic Anatomy Education: Teaching children how their bodies work and how movement benefits them.

Beyond physical skills, we aim to instill the values of regular exercise, appreciation for the outdoors, and using physical abilities to help others. Each session promises a balance of instruction, active play, and exploration, making movement a joyful and integral part of every child's life.

Is your child ready to embark on a magical journey through the world of stories? Our Storybook Adventure Class is the perfect place for kids to ignite their creativity and dive into captivating tales!

👋 Hello! I am a former elementary school teacher. I taught 5th grade and Kindergarten both for 8 years each! I am excited to help foster a love for reading in little ones!

🌟 What To Expect: Each week students will be immersed in a new classic tale. We will discuss a Bible verse that pertains to the story, engage in discussions, recite nursery rhymes and songs, and do various hands on activities. Activities can include Art, Animal classification games, alphabet sorting, rhyming games, Math games, etc.

Ages: 3-5 years
When: Tuesdays, 10 AM - 11:30 AM beginning September 10th

-learn about one of the elements of art (line, form, shape, color, value, texture, space)
-study the week's element within various art pieces, both contemporary and classic pieces
-complete a project centered around the week's element
