Our Mighty Eagle Student Council presented the donations to Mrs. Shimotsu and the Rotary Club of Harlingen to give to veterans! Thank you veterans for your service to our country!

Our PTA Nominations Committee presents the Houston PTA Slate of Officers for the 2023-2024 school year. Presentation of the Slate will take place at the PTA meeting on Thursday, May 18th, 2023, at 5:45 p.m. in our cafeteria, followed by a Mighty Eagle Choir Performance.

The HCISD School Safety Design Team works on a comprehensive safety plan at their first meeting in July.

“Design teams are groups of people we bring together that are part of the district including parents, students, and staff members,” Superintendent Dr. Alicia Noyola said. “We bring experts to the table as well. They research and find those best practices for our district.”
