Ahhh, September! š Though itās not officially fall, thereās something about the month of September that makes it feel like weāre in the fall season. Fun fact about me. I LOVE this time of year, especially fall weddings.
As I sit here and work vigilantly on my fall events, I canāt help but admire these beautiful pictures. Samira and Jose Pabloās fall wedding was one Iāll never forget and gets me excited and motivated for the events to come this season.
Who else had a fall wedding? Iād love to hear all about it.
Iām researching bridal bouquets and came across some fun facts. I thought they were interesting so I have to share them.
š Language of Flowers: In the Victorian era, bouquets were used to convey messages through the language of flowers, known as floriography. Each flower carried a specific meaning, allowing brides to send secret messages to their beloved.
š Tossing Tradition: The tradition of tossing the bridal bouquet originated in England in the 14th century. It was believed that possessing a piece of the brideās bouquet would bring good luck, leading to eager guests trying to grab a piece of it.
š Symbolism: Different flowers carry symbolic meanings, often chosen to reflect the brideās personality, emotions, or wishes for her marriage.
So, are you designing your bridal bouquet to convey a message or is it strictly for the look?

Step into natureās embrace for your dream wedding!
A wedding planner plays a crucial role in orchestrating every aspect of an outdoor wedding to ensure it runs smoothly and according to the coupleās vision. Hereās what a wedding planner typically does for an outdoor wedding:
1. Logistics Management: Coordinates all logistical aspects, including rentals, transportation, and vendor deliveries, considering the unique challenges of an outdoor setting.
2. Weather Contingency Planning: Develops backup plans in case of inclement weather and ensures there are adequate provisions such as tents or indoor options available.
3. Vendor Coordination: Acts as a liaison between the couple and various vendors such as caterers, florists, musicians, and photographers, ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding setup, timing, and logistics.
4. Timeline Creation and Management: Creates a detailed timeline for the wedding day, including setup, ceremony, reception, and teardown, to ensure everything runs smoothly and according to schedule.
5. Decor and Design Assistance: Provides guidance on decor elements that enhance the outdoor setting and coordinates with decorators to bring the coupleās vision to life.
6. Guest Experience: Ensures guest comfort by arranging amenities such as seating, shade, restroom facilities, and signage to navigate the outdoor venue.
7. Safety Measures: Implements safety protocols and precautions to address any potential hazards in the outdoor space and ensures the well-being of guests and vendors.
8. Problem Solving: Handles any unforeseen issues or challenges that may arise during the planning process or on the wedding day, providing solutions promptly to minimize stress for the couple.
9. Cleanup and Tear Down: Coordinates cleanup efforts after the event to ensure the outdoor venue is left in pristine condition.
Overall, a wedding planner for an outdoor wedding plays a pivotal role in turning the coupleās vision into a seamless and memorable reality while navigating the unique challenges of an outdoor setting.
Beach weddings cast a spell of romance, blending the beauty of nature with the vows of forever. Let the rhythm of the waves be your soundtrack as you say āI doā in the embrace of the sun and sea.
Here are some tips for a beautiful beach wedding:
1. Consider the Weather:
2. Attire: Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics for both the bride, groom, and guests.
3. Footwear: Keep in mind that high heels may sink into the sand.
4. Decor: Embrace the natural beauty of the beach by keeping decorations simple and minimalistic.
5. Seating: Provide comfortable seating for guests, especially if the ceremony will be on the sand.
6. Timing: Plan your ceremony during a time when the sun isnāt too harsh.
7. Permits and Regulations: Check with local authorities about any permits or regulations needed for beach weddings.
8. Sound System: Consider renting a sound system or microphone to ensure that your vows and speeches are heard over the sound of the waves.
9. Comfort Stations: Provide amenities like sunscreen, insect repellent, and water stations to keep guests comfortable throughout the event.
10. Cleanup Plan: Remember to leave the beach as pristine as you found it.
With careful planning and attention to detail, your beach wedding will be a dreamy and memorable experience for everyone involved!

Coordination service, letās talk about this for a minute.
This is the perfect service for the couple that comes to me and says āHey Clara, Iām going to plan my wedding, but on the day of my wedding, I want to enjoy being the bride or being the groomā. This is the couple that is going to find their perfect venue, research and hire all the vendors needed, create the guest list and track it, remember their payment schedules, create plan B for inclement weather, design the seating chart, etc. You get where Iām going with this, they are going to plan their wedding from start to finish, but need someone to coordinate the wedding theyāve planned.
This is a popular service, in all honesty not one of my favorites, but a service we do offer. Youāll have to stay tuned to our full service planning and management description to understand why Iām not a fan of this service. š Now, donāt get me wrong, I do understand that this service is ideal for some events too.

Believe it or not, this is the part of the wedding planning that gets overlooked most of the time; the wedding ceremony. We get so caught up in the details for everything else that we forget the most important part of the day. I can go on regarding this topic, but Iāll save that for another post.
if you are looking for some help in planning all the important details for the ceremony, then this is a service for you. There is a big difference between a wedding planner/coordinator and a venue facilitator. That too, is a topic I will save for another post.
How do we line everybody up, who goes first who goes last, can I decorate the church, what time does the church open, what do I do at a wedding rehearsal? All great details that need to be focused on, so take a look at our wedding ceremony coordination package. Weād love to chat if this is an area you need assistance with.
Spring is around the corner and weāre excited for our Spring wedding season. Lots of outdoor event planning in the works.
Letās chat about our Event Consulting Service, shall we?

You decide how much consulting you need and we go from there.
This service is also budget friendly because it is billed by the hour. You decide how much time you need so it allows you to stay in control.

1. Trust and credibility: Your kind words@build trust among our community and show others why they can rely on us.
2. Social Proof: Your reviews validate our commitment to excellence, helping others choose us with confidence.
3. Visibility Boost: Positive reviews help us shine online, making it easier for new friends to discover our little corner of the world.
4. Feedback and Growth: Your insights guide us on our journey to improvement. Your voice shapes our future, and weāre listening!
5. Spread the love: Share your experiences and help us spread the love! Your reviews are the heartbeat of my small business.
If you havenāt shared your feedback, or left a review for your wedding or event vendors, take some time to do that. Some tips I share with my clientsā¦1) Sing praises! 2) Work out any issues with a vendor off-line. If not resolved, then and only then, consider writing a poor review. Remember! Everyone has an off day, and even more, theyāre actually may be a very valid reason for something you thought was incorrect, but was it.
It truly means the world to us and makes us do a happy dance when feedback is received. šš»
N+K ā¤ļø
When I on-board new clients to start their wedding planning journey, Iām often told that they are nervous that something is going to go wrong on their wedding day. Itās expected. Weāve all seen enough wedding movies like Father of the Bride and The Wedding Planner to convince us that something will go wrong.
Now, Iām sure youāre wondering what my response is to this. Here it is (Iāve always said this)ā¦āYes, things may, and can, go wrong, but with a strong team of vendors, proper planning and lots of communication weāll execute an awesome wedding and be prepared to handle anythingā.
The wedding of N+K at Quinta Mazatlan was just perfect! Our team consisted of 18 plus vendors ranging from the variety of entertainment to the bakers to the 3 catering teams (yes, 3), down to the transportation (Iād list them all but this post would be really long āŗļø). Each vendor executed their service and provided their product perfectly. See, no one person can take credit for this. It starts with our clients vision, to understanding their likes and dislikes, and respecting their priorities. When weāve done this we then move on to building the vendor team.
What Iām getting at is yes, weāll have last minute issues to resolve and unexpected hiccups, but when your vendor team pulls together we execute a successful wedding.
So, letās admire N+Kās decor for a moment. Isnāt this dinner table setup gorgeous?!? Kudos to .flowersrentals for their stunning work and talented team of designers.

Weddings on the 4th of July need a little touch of red, white and blue, right? Howād we do with these fresh floral pieces?
You guys, it is so hot out there! Wouldnāt you agree?!?
Our little old building and really old air-conditioning unit canāt seem to keep up with this heat, so I have no choice but to adjust our summer hours. If weāre hot in here, youāll be hot in here, and we donāt want that experience for you, so weāre calling it quits at 2pm.
Not too worry thoughā¦everyones will still receive the attention they deserve. We will be working from home between 2pm and 5:30pm in the comfortable ac.
Stay cool and hydrated out there! š
True storyā¦
We not only plan and execute weddings, but birthday parties too. All types of events, actually.
So if youāre planning a birthday party, a corporate event, an anniversary dinner, a political rally, a beautiful baby shower, or any other special life event, give us a call. Not only are we great at wedding planning, but just as great with all types of events (if I say so myself š).
Your engagement photo session is usually your first official portrait shoot together, and probably the most beautiful photographs youāll have of yourselves before you officially become a married couple. Youāll likely look back on these images in a couple of years, remembering this blissful time of excitement, promise, and happiness. These photographs should always be special, and we want to make sure that you are fully prepared for your engagement photo session with these engagement photo tips.
Tip #1 - Make it personally relevant! Plan and style your engagement shoot around who you are as a couple.
Tip #2 - Find a location that is special and unique to the two of you.
Tip #3 - Be adventurous! No location is off-limits or too far.
Tip #4 - Find a totally cool and awesome photographer like
Itās been a minute since Iāve posted anything, so after my little encounter the other day I thought Iād jump on and reintroduce myself. š
I was grocery shopping (those who know me well know I live at H-E-B) and bumped into an old coworker. We made small talk, the usual āhiā¦howās the familyā¦blah blah blahā. She then asked what I was doing for work these days and I said āIām still planning partiesā. She gave me a strange look, like a confused look. She didnāt realize I was still running Social Situations and thought I went on to do something different.
Anyway, I figured that if thatās what she thought maybe others thought the same. Hence this post.
Old friends, new friends and potential friendsā¦read a little about me. š
Please note the office hours for this week.
Who doesnāt love a good engagement photo session?!? We absolutely love this one and had to share.
