We just installed two dehumidifiers in a commercial property in Rockland County. This building has had serious moisture and mold issues since it was built. Finally, with these two 120H units, we can bring that under control.

Bubble checking our gas piping while under test. Some wait until the pressure drops. In my experience, I would prefer to do both at the same time. It saves us time in case of a leak. We find it. We repair it, and we get back to it. In this case, we only found a leak on our test rig. Fixed and the pressure test holds. We love the speed and quality of this system. What a game changer. And, better bubble for the win!

Installing a 5 zone branch box today on a job using 5 minisplit indoor units on one outdoor hyperheat. I'm no , but I'm trying to make it look good. Btw, I think I drove past on the way to meet up with yesterday morning. It's great to see so many skilled craftsmen in our backyard.

Finally, getting started with the installation of these one-way cassette units. We've installed a lot of the commercial 4-way units. But, this will be our first time with these. And, already I can tell that are going to look very slickπŸ‘Œ

We finally got that manifold replaced and up and running. Big thanks to for the hands on and for calling me while I was racking my brain on this one. Only the one 1/2" viega pex loop was of standard size. The four orange loops were of 14 mm pex that is obsolete. And, the supply pex, Uponor DIN 25 was bigger than 3/4" cts, smaller than 1" cts, and slightly smaller than 3/4" sch 40 ips. Fortunately, we were able to reuse the compression adapters to 1" British pipe thread. No one I talked to had heard of this DIN 25 size before. How about you guys? What have run into that surprised you after years in the field?

I'm just putting this out there. What do you think about this as a possible new logo? Keep in mind that the van, shirts, hats, etc, are charcoal gray.

Did someone say "design"? We do that, too! If you need ACCA Manual J8 calculations, radiant heat design, equipment specifications, fixture specs, pump specs, plumbing pipe sizing, and flow diagrams, we've got you covered.

So, we ran into this today... when was the last time that you saw 14 mm pex? We are replacing an aged and leaking staedler radiant manifold at an estate. We ordered a new one with 1/2 and 3/8 fittings, thinking that this would be pretty straightforward. Not so fast! After a phone call to tech support, the 14 mm has been obsolete for 15 yrs. But, they were able to point me in the right direction for some adapters. Rob over at to the rescue. We should have the adapters in a couple of days. Thanks for the help, guys.

Another great 36k ducted heat pump installed! We did this swap out from a 20 yr old Heil on the first day of the heat wave. I think it got up to 130 deg in that attic. But, now it's done, and the homeowners are very happy.

Doing some boiler maintenance and troubleshooting at this estate in beautiful today. This 5 yr old propane fired combi was making a little noise, so we cleaned it up and dialed in the gas a little tighter, and now she purrs like a kitten.

Are you building a new home or doing a major update? Have you ever considered installing a geothermal heat pump system to lower your utility bills? While it is true that a geothermal system has a higher upfront cost, by pulling heating and cooling from the constant 55 deg of the earth, combined with today's power efficient equipment, it can save you πŸ’°
in the long run.

We got a call for a leaky shower a few days back. The homeowner had already taken it apart, and vise grips were lying on the floor when we got there. We had to drill out the cartridge, which was ceased in place. After replacing it, we found the valve body had been bent and wouldn't seal, so we had to replace the valve. The original tile was originally installed too close to allow the cover plate to be flush, so we cut it and installed it correctly. And, we found cpvc. Not in NYS. The moral of the story? Use a licensed plumber! The cpvc we found in the wall was likely from a handyman. The lack of using the mud ring to tile against? Handyman. The damage to the valve body? Probably the homeowners' good intentions with vise grips. All in a morning's work.

We replaced this old girl a couple of days ago. Sears and Roebuck, how old do you think it was? It might just predates me. Oh, and I want to thank the property manager, who knew it was an "artesian" well, with a curb c**k in the yard, but didn't share that with me. πŸ˜† It was almost like doing the work live. Probably a good 3 gpm coming from the inlet. But, we got it done, and the homeowners are happy.

We love these toilet carriers with the concealed tank. This one has a bidet option and will fit inside of a standard 2x4 wall. Great choice for the update we are doing with on this historic BnB in Sullivan County. For this phase, the owners went with some beautiful fixtures as well for their bathroom and kitchen. This particular kitchen will have 3 sinks, a pot filler, and a mini split cassette to heat and cool the bump out built to extend the kitchen. We're going to love seeing it all cone together.

Installing some heatpumps on the home upgrade and addition here in Newburgh. The 36k will run the ducted central in the original part of the home, and the 18k will run 2 minisplit heads in the addition. Both will easily provide the heating and cooling needs for the 1960s 2,000 sq ft home and for a lot less than the old oil boiler.
