HHS Tops Metro Awards with 11 Nominations: Harrison High School received 11 Metro Award nominations, the most of any public high school. The school’s Footlight Players' spring musical production of Mean Girls HS Version earned nominations, including Best Overall Production of a Musical. The nominations highlight the individual and collective efforts of our fantastic students and teachers who helped make the show successful. Bravo!
HHS Science Research students senior Lucia Lammers and junior Ryo Ide, are competing as finalists in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). At the competition, Lucia won the Environmental Protection Agency Patrick H. Hurd Sustainability Award at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). The award is presented to one student whose work demonstrates a commitment to environmental sustainability and stewardship.
The 9th Annual String Extravaganza was an amazing night of music and community. Last night all HCSD strings students (322 of them!) filled the stage in the HPAC at Harrison High School with an incredible performance. The focus of this year’s concert was he 2024 Olympics, featuring works from around the world to honor the international spirit the Olympics represent.
BIG WINS FOR HHS Debate Team this weekend! Congratulations to HHS Debate Team member Jack Gessner on qualifying for the National Speech & Debate Association's national championship! Congrats as well to Adeena Naeem on winning Lakeland High School's varsity division and Flynn Williams on winning the novice division, and Andrew Gaffin, Arthur Getaz, and Liz Nicaj for also winning awards!

Congratulations to the HHS Debate Team on a great performance at Lexington High School's national tournament in Massachusetts this past weekend (1/13-14)! Reese Potash placed 6th and completed her qualification to the Tournament of Champions, Jack Borman placed 11th, Brooke Schiano placed 15th, Flynn Williams placed 3rd in the novice division, and Atharv Gandhi was top novice speaker!
