What a difference a week makes! We are delighted to report significant progress on our campus enhancement project, aimed at creating a more accessible, secure, and inviting environment for our resident families.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Wayne Harold, a former Mercy House Board Member and beloved "super volunteer." Wayne gave countless hours of his time, energy, and love to our mission. A true gentleman in every sense, his heart for service made the world a better place. His dedication, kindness, and compassion touched so many lives, and our team will deeply miss his presence. Please join us in remembering Wayne and honoring his legacy of service. Our thoughts are with his family during this time.

Our agency is profoundly disappointed in Friday's Supreme Court ruling in the case of Grants Pass v. Johnson. This decision effectively criminalizes homelessness and is a step backwards for justice and compassion. No one should be punished for simply existing without a home. We must advocate for policies that provide support and solutions, not criminalization. We call on our City and County to protect the rights and dignity of every individual in our local community.
