I have been in 4-H for 10 years and my favorite projects have been dogs and welding!! I have enjoyed many 4-H opportunities like National Congress, serving on the state council, and being a camp counselor. I will be attending Harding University in the fall to pursue a major in Nursing and a minor in Spanish with the intent to become a bilingual nurse in an emergency room. My time in 4-H has shaped my life and made me who I am today, and I am so thankful for it!

Victoria Gibbs is a senior at Lee’s Summit West High School. She has been a member of Cass County 4-H and the Hickory Grove Club for 13 years. During her time, she participated in public speaking at the county and state level, dress review at the county and state level, county and state shoot, and attended National 4-H congress. Her projects included sewing, crochet, foods, archery, 22, and air rifle. Following graduation, she will attend Pittsburg State University to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with dreams of eventually becoming a Pediatric Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Elizabeth Ravasini was a Hickory Grove 4-H Clover Kids member for three years followed by ten years as a regular member. Some of Elizabeth's most notable projects include: Foods, Arts & Crafts, Photography, Scrapbooking, and Cake Decorating. She exhibited at the indoor Cass County Fair and the Missouri State Fair every year. Elizabeth enjoyed many 4-H trips over the years including 4-H Camp, 4-H Camp Counselor, Teen Conference, and National 4-H Congress in Atlanta. Elizabeth participated in dozens of community service projects including donating food to the Feeding Missouri campaign, packing snack bags for the Ronald McDonald House, serving food at a homeless shelter, and taking club members into nursing homes to sing and perform as part of her "Musical Missionaries" group. Elizabeth served her club as secretary. She excelled in public speaking taking many demonstrations to the State Fair and speeches to the state public speaking contest. Her favorite demonstration was a team cake decorating demonstration entitled, "Nailed It," where she and her teammates had a friendly competition by randomly drawing a cake photo out of a hat and had a short time to recreate the photo by decorating a Styrofoam cake. Elizabeth is thankful for all the leaders who helped her gain countless life skills throughout her 4-H career. Elizabeth plans to attend Wichita State University in the fall majoring in Dental Hygiene and participating in band and choir activities.
