We want to thank the friends and family who have been supporting us since we started building out our first location. Without you, our dream would have never gotten off the ground.

Also, we want to thank the amazing small business community in downtown and around the Hartford area. We wish each and every one of you continued prosperity and success.

Lastly, an extra special thank you to all of the customers who supported us for the two and a half year run. We had the opportunity to meet some amazing people, engage in the most genuine conversations, and follow along on so many of your special journeys. We will always hold this adventure close to our hearts.

CHAMBER CHECK CHALLENGE!!! Find hidden $10 Chamber Checks inside participating downtown Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce businesses! Look for the HACC logo on the door and find the same logo on an envelope inside the store! Chamber Checks will be HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT to redeem at that Chamber business.

The Big Lots store in West Bend is closing after being open for just over a year. We have seen comments about how some did not like their products, or how expensive it was, bla bla bla. However, people are missing the overall picture. As business owners we prefer to support other small businesses. We also understand large corporations help feed families, help support the local economy and create opportunity for all types of businesses to exist in their area. So, while people are celebrating the failing businesses around them, they are missing the deterioration of their own communities. Then, when there is no business left to support, they will point the finger at everyone and everything else. Don't be this type of person. YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS YOU!

Behind every small business that’s forced to close, are real people, families, making hard decisions and mourning the loss of big dreams…
Meanwhile, the surrounding business community experiences a sinking feeling in the stomach’s pit which comes from a place of understanding, empathy, and for some, a very real fear of being the next one to close.
We are sad to lose such a quality business, and equally sad to lose the people behind the counter, behind the scenes.
A small business requires many layers of expertise…marketing, purchasing, communication skills, business management, people management, strategic planning, accounting, community outreach, the list goes on into infinity…they are a vulnerable (yet mighty) group of people as their success lies on being able to “do it all” and make a living doing it…their success also depends on the mindset of their community.
A “Support Local” mindset is not just a saying, not just words. It is the mindset that small businesses depend on to survive.
