WillaDean’s Tavern

Everyone is asking if I plan to rebuild or not. I haven’t made a decision yet. I have to finish the insurance process first which having the building torn down is an important step. Then I’ll go from there. I’ll keep everyone posted as things progress.

Thank you to everyone for their kind words and support. I really appreciate it and warms my heart. I bought a home here because it reminds me of growing up back home and my family and I look forward to a lifetime of memories here.

It’s a sad day for my WillaDean’s family. These folks were in the trenches with me from day one and man it was fantastic. I want to give my core team a big personal shout out. This was a dream I had with my two boys and although it didn’t turn out like I wanted, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!

It’s a sad day for the WillaDean’s team. So many memories for so many people. It was such a loss for the entire town.
But we have to move onward and upward, and I look forward to all that is to come.
Thank you to all my sweet customers that have reached out to me today. I appreciate and miss you all so much!

Back to being a home cook. I miss my WillaDeans family and especially brunch day. These are jalapeño spinach egg bites I made for the kids this morning.

To the men who looted my burned business. I’m going to pray for you.

You should also say a prayer for yourself since I set up video cameras in case this type of thing happened. Tools are expensive. Should be a nice lengthy jail sentence for you.

I’d not advise coming back as I intend to protect the portion you didn’t steal.

You didn’t just steal from me, there were some friends who had some property you took. They aren’t as nice as me, I don’t think praying is how they intend to handle your crime.

Special place for folks who take advantage of others especially during a tough time. You should fit right in there.
