Good morning everyone. Well another shearing day done. I would like to give a huge shout out to Neil and Vinny from Appalachian Custom Shearing for all their hard work and for their time and gentleness for the care of our alpacas. Great job y'all. Thank you. Enjoyed dinner and time together.
Our little PL's Silver Vortex's Eddy. This little man is 4 days old today and we believe he will be a show stopper. We shall see next year.
First day out with the herd. I do believe he is loving life.

Little Simon moved to new pastures in N.C. today. I will miss our sweet little man.
So yesterday was herd health day. Everyone got their ivermectin vaccination, famacha checked, body score, temperature taken, fecals done. Everyone healthy and well. We tested the 3 ladies we believe are pregnant. Sara Beth, Arabella and Calliope. We are positive that 2 are pregnant and 98% sure the other one is. Looking like 3 cria this coming spring. Excited!!!
The Zebu, Cocoa and Boaz are getting their winter coats. The black is new.
The alpacas sure are liking this cooler weather. After a year of uncertainties (My husband had open heart surgery and other surgeries) we finally feel like all is getting back to normal. We have moved to Hartwell, GA. Call and make an appointment for a farm tour and meet the alpacas and zebu.
We only ask for donations for the tours.
Good morning everyone. It is a rainy day in Hartwell Georgia. All the alpacas are in their shelters relaxing. Have a great day.
