The barricades placed in on the corner of 2nd & Hastings Streets will make trick or treating in Downtown Hastings unsafe this October 31st. Families should plan to attend one of the many other Halloween events that take place in Hastings. Please help us get the word out by sharing this post.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Retreat is under way. Crafty Girls Have Gone Wild.

The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Retreat, April 19-21,only has a few spots left. We need to get t-shirts ordered so the last day to register and be guaranteed a shirt is Saturday, April 6.

Blu J and the stores we share space with will be closed March 30-31.

We are so excited to announce our Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Retreat. It will be April 19-21, 2024. This is a mixed creative time with the stores that share space in our building. Bring whatever you are working on and join us for fellowship and productivity.

The retreat is limited t0 40 individuals and is sure to fill up fast. Payment must be received with your registration to guarantee your spot.

Snow Day, Monday, January 8, 2024.

Since the city of Hastings has declared a snow emergency and area schools are closed we have decided it is best to keep Blu J, Julie's Xpressions, Calico Cottage, The Plum Nelly, and The Heart's Desire closed tomorrow.

As we gear up for the long weekend, we wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend! Whether you're spending time with family and friends, soaking up some sun, or enjoying a good ol' fashioned BBQ, we hope you have a blast.

We hear the street crews are working diligently to clear streets today. They will be clearing downtown parking stalls beginning at 11:00 pm.
