Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro
A 100% Volunteer Firefighting, Fire Police and Auxiliary Company serving Hatboro and our surrounding communities. We want YOU to be a part of that 75,000!
In the mid-1970’s, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania boasted around 300,000 volunteer fire personnel. Today, that number has decreased to around 75,000.
Yesterday, our members were fortunate enough to receive a donation from of some brand new battery operated tools.
These battery operated tools are critical in so many functions of what we do. With technology ever changing, having battery operated tools will allow us to operate in a quicker and more efficient manner.
We are very grateful and appreciative of the donation of the tools and can't wait to put them to good use!
The Enterprise Fire Company is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sidney Gamburg.
Sidney was always a huge supporter of the fire company and the members, often donating to our raffles, our banquets, and providing discounts to our volunteers.
Our thoughts are with his family and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

This past weekend we had the opportunity to attend the Touch a Truck Saturday Series at the Union Library Company of Hatboro !
Our volunteers love the opportunity to participate in community events and get to better know everyone! We are always looking for new volunteers! Stop down any Wednesday at 7pm.
We hope everyone had a great time!
Today we remember John Kulick, who was killed in action on 09 August 2005, in Bayji, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. John was part of the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 111th Infantry Regiment.
John was a member of Enterprise since he joined at age 16 and served many positions and ranks, including Deputy Chief.
Today, we remember the ultimate sacrifice he made protecting our country and our freedoms.
Today we give a shout out to some of our newest members who have enrolled into the Firefighter 1 program to become Nationally Certified Interior Firefighters.
What does that mean you ask?
That means they are attending the Bucks County Fire School, taking a class that covers topics needed to become a nationally certified interior firefighter; from gear and air packs, to ladders and search, to putting out actual fires. This 192 hour class will take them through the whole run of training.
We are fortunate these members are willing to dedicate their time, as this class runs from August to the end of November, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. These members all have lives, jobs, other commitments outside of the fire company, yet are taking the time and putting forth the effort to get certified.
Today, we applaud them as they start this journey and we hope you all do too!
With the severe weather coming in, our station is staffed with two trucks worth of volunteers ready to respond in the event of an emergency.
Be weather aware. Don't drive through flooded waters or closed roadways. Turn around, don't drown. Charge your electronic devices now and be prepared.
We've had one call for service as the rain intensifies. Stay safe out there.
Last night for our weekly training, members had some practice on vehicle rescue operations. Since vehicle rescues are not something that we respond to every day, training like this is critical to ensure we maintain our skills and keep up with the ever-changing technology in vehicles today.
A big thank you to Bob Wipplinger from Village Hardware for his generous donation of water to the fire company!
We are so fortunate to have not only the support of our residents but also our local businesses here in Hatboro.
Here are some more photos from our members enjoying the car show day! Photos from Kelly Roome.
Did you know that our members started staffing the station as early as 10am Saturday? At the height of the day and into the car show, the station was staffed with over 15 firefighters, who all volunteered their time to be there. Doing so allowed us to be prepared to respond quickly in the event of an emergency, whether related to the car show or unrelated. We also had some help from our mutual aid partners. A big thank you to Warminster Fire Department, Horsham Fire Company, and Ivyland Fire-Company who stood by at certain points on York Road to assist with any potential emergencies.
Some more pictures from our photographer, Kelly Roome. Members are standing by, enjoying the car show. So far we've had one call for service.
Car show goes until 9pm!
Some photos of the car show from the top of Ladder 95! We hope everyone is having a safe and fun time so far.
Our members are standing by at the firehouse today, enjoying the beautiful weather, and prepared to quickly respond for any emergencies that may occur. Here are some shots from our photographer, Kelly Roome!
The fire company hopes everyone has a great time at the Car Show today. A few reminders:
1) York Rd is now closed between Home Rd and Horsham Rd. Cross traffic is allowed at Moreland, Lehman, and Montgomery Ave.
2) Fire Police Officers (FPO) from all over Bucks and Montgomery County are here. All of these folks are volunteers. They are here for your safety, both pedestrians and vehicle traffic. Please obey their instructions, and maybe a offer a handshake. We know they'd appreciate it!
3) At the close of the show, all traffic should head south on York Rd and exit York Rd at the first intersection reached.
Have a great time today.
On Thursday evening, we attended Bike Night at Palz Tap House. We truly appreciate the opportunity to attend community events and interact with everyone. Thanks to the Knights of the Inferno Apollo Chapter and to Palz Tap House for having us!
A huge shout-out and thank you to the of the Inferno Apollo Chapter for their generous donation of water and Gatorade!

What a wonderful day supporting HAT Packs !
Hatboro community, we asked, you delivered! Our very first Fill A Truck Event was a huge success! Thank you to the Horsham Acme, Second Alarmer's Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County, and Hatboro Police Department for participating in such a great cause.
Thank you to the community for coming out and donating to such a great cause!
We hope to see you at the next one. Don't forget, you can always make donations directly to HAT Packs !
We are ready and excited to Fill That Truck!! Remember, 10a to 1p today, stop down with non-perishable food items to fill the trucks and support our very own HAT packs!
Who's coming tomorrow! 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the firehouse, 36 Byberry Road. Help us fill the trucks to support our Hatpacks!
Earlier today, the fire company was dispatched for a grass fire. Grass fire was called in by a passerby who saw the smoke. A cigarette mixed with dry brush is what caused the fire.
With the dry, hot conditions we've been experiencing, please keep in mind a few safety tips:
Avoid leaving outdoor grills unattended, and keep flammable materials away from heat sources.
Don't throw lit ci******es out of a vehicle, and dispose of smoking materials properly.
Remove dead plants, bushes, long grass, and weeds around your home. Check recently-burned piles for flare-ups.
Have a fire extinguisher, water supply, hose, or bucket of water nearby. Make sure your fire extinguisher is working, and know how to use it.
At one of our recent drills, we had the opportunity to train at the Pennypack Community Center again. This time we practiced using the hydrant, flowing water, and using our aerial device. Being well rounded on all of our equipment allows us to be ready for any type of incident we may face.
We are always looking for volunteers. There is something to do for everyone! Stop down any Wednesday night at 7pm.
Next up for The Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro!!!
We are so PROUD to be TEAMING up with Second Alarmer's Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County, Hatboro Police Department, HAT Packs and The Horsham Acme, to give back to the community!!!
Will you help us FILL these Trucks????
Come meet us, check out our Ladder truck, and eat some pancakes!!!
Earlier today, we had the opportunity to take Squad 95 to KinderCare Learning Centers in Hatboro for their summer camp! The kids got to see all the equipment, use the hose, and spend some time with our firefighters! Lt. Dave Lemek along with auxiliary member Jill, FF Christian and JR FFs Savannah, Ben, and Zach had a fantastic time teaching some fire safety and interacting with the kids!
Whose coming tomorrow for some PANCAKES?!?
On Saturday June 8th, 2024, we had the honor of dedicating the Warminster Road ridge in honor of John Kulick. John was KIA while serving our nation, fighting for our freedoms. As a volunteer and Deputy Chief of our fire company, he passed on his knowledge and passion for firefighting to many of our members and many members of surrounding companies. John's commitment and sacrifice to our community and our country will always live on.
Please join us tomorrow morning (Saturday June 8) at 10am, as the Warminster Road Bridge is dedicated in honor of John Kulick.
Be mindful that the road will be closed starting at 930am and reopening at 1130am.
