On this Giving Tuesday, we want to thank all of the wonderful folks that support us with their time and their treasure! We couldn't do it without you!

We are Bux-Mont Meals on Wheels, Inc. We need help and we need it now!
Never before have we been in such dire straits.
Just like you, we are affected by extreme rising costs of food and supplies. These rising costs,
along with a drastic drop in donations, have left us in a situation where we must consider closing
our doors by the end of the year.
Since 1977 we have been serving the elderly and homebound in our community. We are not
associated with the national Meals on Wheels program and we receive no federal, state or
county aid. Our funding has always been completely from local donations.
Our Meals on Wheels program is so much more than just food. For some clients, we are like
their family! The social support and daily personal contact are crucial for our clients' physical
and emotional well-being. Being sick and with limited support is a very empty existence. We
bring food and smiles every day to each door we enter. Families who live far away receive peace
of mind knowing we check on their loved ones daily. Even throughout the 2 very long and
stressful years of Covid, we did not miss one day of deliveries.
We are asking for your donation today to save our Meals on Wheels. Talk it up, share on

During the pandemic, Bux-Mont Meals on Wheels didn't miss one single day in serving our elderly/homebound community healthy and delicious meals. The economics of the pandemic, though, are seriously impacting our ability to pay for the food and supplies we need.
Summers are always a slow time for donations but this year has been especially light. Lower than usual donations, combined with the increasing costs of food and many client's inability to pay their bills, has left us struggling.
