Kindness Foundation
We work with the Russian, Ukrainian and Latvian Ministries of Education to teach Bible-based morals in their schools, and to distribute Bibles!
Kindness Foundation began raising money to purchase Bibles for public school students in Russia in 1996 and has also created the Biblical morality curriculum in Russia's public schools as well as trained teachers. Fifteen years ago, the program was expanded to Ukraine and a few years ago to Latvia. Please consider making a donation on our website and pray that our work will continue to accomplish Christ's goals to spread His Word to all nations.
With the Bible integrated into the curriculum for over 25 years, students in Russia are taught the World History of Christianity, including it's beginnings, it's development and present-day Christianity. The Kindness Foundation plays an integral role in providing Bibles.
When communism fell, more was at risk than the Russian social, political & economic structure. Removing those restraints left the vast nation in a moral void, without rules or standards. Crime escalated alarmingly. Chaos ensued, but Russia’s crisis was Christianity’s opportunity
The spiritual rebirth of Russia began with a new curriculum which integrated teachings from the Bible into all subjects for all grades, including history, literature, science, biology, social studies, art, music, drama, archaeology, geography & world politics.
Since all the Bibles in Russia had been destroyed during 75 years of communism, an invitation was extended at the ASCI convention in Anaheim to Christian teachers to come to Russia to teach educators how to teach the Bible.
After 75 years of godless oppression, Russia was left without hope...until Campus Crusade for Christ was invited to show the JESUS film in the classrooms by the Ministry of Education. The flames of truth had been ignited & birthed CoMission & ultimately the Kindness Foundation.
