Learning to cook at our life skills house! 🍳 Some of our high school students participated in cooking a meal all together from start to finish (including cleaning!).

It's spelling quiz time! 🐝 Spelling is a super easy activity to practice at home, you can find free spelling activities online or make them up on the fly!

It's and we are celebrating all month long! We had the students tie-dye their own shirts to wear for our Autism Acceptance Walk, pictures & video to come! 💙

Did you know hole punching can be used as a occupational therapy tool? It's great for fine motor strengthening and provides opportunities for the development of other foundation skills for using other tools like scissors, pencils, and more!

Our students are super heroes to us but for superhero day, they got to dress the part! 🦹‍♂️🦸‍♀️⭐️

Legos are an amazing activity for kids with autism, they help with practicing problem-solving, planning, and the development of flexible thinking and adaptive behaviors!

Plus, they are fun and something you can do together 😊

We meet our kids where they are, meaning if they want to do an activity on the floor, we sit on the floor!

Learning how to tie your shoes can be complicated, especially for kids with autism. In occupational therapy, we give the kids opportunities to practice at their own pace and work with them on an individual level!
