Golden Gate Boys Choir and Bellringers
Building Bridges of Understanding Through Music since 1988!
Thank you to Swiss Park Bar & Grille for inviting us again for Swiss National Day! It was a great fun event on an amazing day surrounded by the wonderful Swiss, Swiss-Americans and Bay Area culture.
As a representative of American Federation Pueri Cantores, we were invited to celebrate the 8am Saturday mass at the Napa Institute's 14th Annual Summer Conference (https://napa-institute.org/event/14th-annual-summer-conference-2/)
Enjoy the beautiful songs, chants, and bellringing in the natural acoustics of the Napa Institute's Wine Cave where the mass was celebrated by Archbishop Timothy Broglio and 3 other bishops.
Happy Independence Day America!
To our loudest cheerleaders,
our relentless protectors,
our stern guides,
our reassuring mentors,
our steady captains,
our strongest allies,
our constant inspirations,
our guiding light,
our heroes,
to our GGBC fathers, and to all the wonderful fathers out there, Happy Father's Day!
Our final Spring Concert II is this Sunday!
As May comes to an end, we can feel June is bustin' out all over!
We were invited to the Guardsmen San Francisco chapter at the historic Fairmont San Francisco. We crooned "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" at the very hotel that the legendary Tony Bennett sang in. The choir was personally toured by Mr. Meyer and explained all the relevant and historic figures who have stayed at the hotel.
Today, we want to appreciate all soldiers of the United States of America, past and present, for their service, dedication and sacrifices. We also remember and honor those who have laid their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy. May God Bless you and your families.
To the unceasing love you show everyday
For always being humble and selfless
For the endless patience and kindness
For being you everyday...a mother
Happy Mother's Day to all moms everywhere!
Thank you Oakland Athletics for inviting us to perform our National Anthem on April 15 for the A's vs Cardinals game. It was a proud moment for our boys and young men. We fully enjoyed the whole experience! ⚾️🇺🇸🎼
Matthew 28:5-7
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
This month of March is Woman's History Month. And today, March 8, is International Women's Day. We honor all women and give thanks to our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, older and younger sisters, and our female family members and friends who continually support and love us unconditionally.
We would like to share a link to a Letter of Pope John Paul II
to Women where he talks about the genius of women.

Our very own Christopher Cosbey (of proud parents Christine Cosbey, Keith Cosbey) was featured in the latest March issue of Catholic Voice for the Archdiocese of Oakland. Mark your calendars for March 16, 2024 and celebrate mass with the American Federation Pueri Cantores Northern California choirs at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, San Francisco
Announcing the first confirmed regional festival in our 2024 Festival Season! Who will be joining us in San Francisco on March 16th at Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption with Archbishop Cordileone?
Cognitive function: Practicing music may protect aging brain Recent research suggests that people who play an instrument may experience protective effects on working memory, while those who things may have better executive function for longer.
This was truly a once in a lifetime core memory!
Thank you American Federation Pueri Cantores and PueriCantores International - FIPC for this opportunity to perform with other talented choirs around the world. Thank you Bray and the junior counselors for your guidance, patience, and expertise. I hope this has brought you all closer. Thank you Daisy, Albert, Jocelyn and the adult chaperones for keeping an eye, ear, nose on the boys. I know how it is to take care of 1 kid, and you all had to look out for 41 😆. Thank you Fr. John for providing religious guidance to the boys and for making them understand how their singing brings joy to God and to everyone. Most of all, thank you to our music director Mr. Meyer for preparing the boys to bring their VERY BEST to various Rome church performances and in front of Pope Francis and to the world.
It is really a blessing and privilege to be part of this team we now call family ❤️. Sleep well, rest, hydrate, reset, safe travels to all. We'll see you back home 🏡.
We are greatly indebted to the Comune Serrone , Italy for inviting our Golden Gate Boys Choir and Bellringers to perform at their various churches. We could not repay your hospitality and kindness for hosting us for the 3 days after the Pueri Cantores Festival. This was an experience of a lifetime for our boys.
Father Piero, at the end of one of the concerts, talked about them being a small parish with a big heart - and that he hoped the boys would leave knowing how welcomed they were. He hopes that their parish’s lives are richer from spending time with the boys and the boys are enriched from their time with the parish.
Definitely, all of our hearts are enriched from the love we received from the community.
Grazie mille comune Serrone!
I wish we can bottle up this magical experience. I guess videos will have to do...
