Where did the summer go?! I can’t believe we are already to the last part of the year. Sharing the only project I completed over summer as it was crazy busy. A wedding gift for a former Scout/Co-leader.

Introducing the Shelby Beanie! This pattern uses a single skein of DK weight yarn and is available in my Ravelry store. Link in profile. Time to pull out those one of a kind DK skeins! This pattern works great with variegated yarn too!

Why release a beanie in May? Well today would have been my niece’s 25th birthday. It is her first birthday without her. All profits from the Shelby Beanie will always be donated to the Small Cell Ovarian Cancer Foundation in memory of my niece Shelby Eve. Shelby lost her eight-month battle against small cell ovarian cancer at just 24 years old. My hope is one day there will be a way for early detection and a cure so that no family will ever lose a loved one to small cell ovarian cancer again. Know your body, know the symptoms, and advocate for your health!

I have hardly picked my hook up in well over a month as I’ve been completely consumed with Girl Scout cookie season but I did manage to finally deliver this very overdue baby blanket this past weekend. This little man will grow up being a horse lover just like his parents and brother.

This design is just perfect for representing your favorite team. This hat is a donation for the Rustler Wrestling Club’s fundraiser.

My goals for 2023 are not buy any yarn, unless it for a custom order, and finish all my WIPs. While I failed on the first part…I could not pass up Self Care kit…I finished two WIPs using yarn from my stash in January.

I wish everyone could feel how soft and light this shawl is! I know my Aunt Wedad will love it and I will defiantly be making more with mohair.

My completed Willow Creek Wrap designed and yarn dyed by .crochet. I made it 4 days into the advent box before I opened all the yarn because I couldn’t wait.

I finally get to use the pretties I opened over the last 10 days!

You can almost feel the softness and squish of this High-Line Cowl through your screen. I made this beautiful cowl for my mother using Foxy Lady fi*****ng in Heartbreak Hotel.

I just love how the High-Line Cowl works wonderfully with verigated yarn .

I never got the chance to take a picture of these fingerless gloves before I sent them off. I made these for my friend and former Girl Scout who is attending my alma mater. Today I received this text and it made my heart full. 🥰

I finally found the perfect project for this skein of yarn I’ve been hanging on to for years. While Heather] doesn’t dye anymore, I always loved the vibrant colorways she created.
