This custom foil process was achieved using 19 foils to redistribute her blonde dimension without erasing the depth from her lived in rooty base color. Kacie has really enjoyed having lower maintenance color while still feeling blonde and bright.

Reds can be so much fun but can be a lot to maintain if you want to remain vibrant. So keep this in mind if you want to choose red. Also, if you change your mind and want to go back to your natural color or remove the red, it can be the hardest to remove afterward. This is a big decision that shouldn’t be made on a whim. It can be costly to maintain it or to change it. However, it does usually fade to a beautiful rose gold or copper, so…. There is a “silver lining” if you love rose gold or copper tones.

My biggest regret is NOT having the before pics to explain what an achievement this is. Going grey can be painful if you’ve been covering it for your adult life. But there are ways to make it through the transition gracefully!
