In the middle of a heat wave and my household a/c went out!!!!!???? Good thing I can still tech....35$ part and back in the cool breeze! Just saved an emergency holiday call... Blessed!

I often receive questions on what I do with all of my trays after I sell the Microgreens. Here are two of my piles in my backyard in compost mode. I usually stack them like lasagna, spray down with the hose, and cover with a tarp. It breaks down fast and is full of worms in no time. I just then spread the composted material all over my clay filled yard and plant something. Stay green stay healthy!

People always ask, "so how do you eat Microgreens"? Here are a few examples of them just being used generously as a topping. They are very universal and easy to incorporate into any snack or meal. It's not just about the health of it, but also for the taste of it! Stay healthy and eat your greens!

I have been seeing this larger Praying Mantis this year after seeing several last year in the garden. I found him/her next to what appears to be a nest? Anyone know off hand? I don't want to disturb this beast of a bug killer!

PURSLANE- has been categorized as a "problem w**d" in flower and vegetable gardens where it "competes" for water. I beg to differ!

DID YOU KNOW: Purslane is loaded with antioxidants! It has a long history of use in traditional/alternative medicine. It is loaded with vitamins like Vitamin A (from beta carotene) , Vitamin C, Magnesium, Manganese, Potassium, Iron, Calcium and small amounts of B1,2,3, Copper, Folate and Phosphorus.

I think it goes great in a salad and adds a texture similar to sunflower shoots. The flavor...grow some and see for yourself! Eat for health! Stay Green!
