The Fuller Center for Housing Hemet
We are a nonprofit, volunteer based organization helping build decent shelter for low income families
Getting our next fundraiser started! Can't wait to see the decorated homes.
"Make the most of your weekend with the comfort of a home. Shockingly, 30% of children in Hemet, CA don't have access to adequate cooling. Let's talk about that together! Check out our page to volunteer or donate and bring adequate housing relief to those children in need. π βοΈ "
π οΈ Calling all volunteers! π Help us build a stronger community by lending a hand in building shelves and organizing our storage. Not only will you make a tangible impact, but we've got FREE t-shirts waiting for every volunteer! π
π’ If you're available Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm, we also need assistance in our office. It's a great opportunity to gain experience and give back simultaneously! Call 951-658-0235 during those hours to join our team.
π© Additionally, we're in need of materials for sturdy metal shelving. If you have any to spare or know someone who does, we'd greatly appreciate the support.
π As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all contributions are tax deductible, and we're happy to provide letters of recommendation for our valued volunteers. It's an excellent addition to job and college applications!
π Together, let's make a difference and ask ourselves, "What have we done for our community lately?" We're here to help you give back in so many meaningful ways! Contact us for more information.
Don't forget to share this post and spread the word! π£π€

Fuller Center for Housing
(formerly Habitat for Humanity)
New name but same community service πππ
The newly elected Board members (Michele Ryneal, Karena Zermino, Vince Record, Frank Barrickman, Guillermo Alcazar, Koka Lakshman) are excited to inform you about the new name for local Habitat for Humanity chapter. Fuller Center for Housing organization specializes in helping to provide decent shelter for low income families with children for smaller towns like Hemet, San Jacinto and surrounding cities.
We are still a volunteer driven community organization striving to do good in our valley with the support of local Businesses like Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians, HCN Bank, SJUSD, HUSD, Altura Credit Union, McCrometer Inc, Dr. Koka/SJ Medical and many more plus individuals like you. We will continue to provide Volunteer build homes and Volunteer built repairs as we have done in the past in the name of 'Brush with Kindness'. One of our largest fund raisers is the 'Diamond Valley Lake Run', consisting of Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K Run/walk and 1k Kid run held on the First Saturday of March every year.
Unfortunately due to certain unavoidable circumstances and organizational changes, we are postponing our Run to 2024. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.
We are excited about the future and the opportunity to work with you in providing decent shelter to hard working families with children.
