Had a great day celebrating Christmas with the whole team on Friday. It’s very difficult to get everyone together when we are this busy but we were able to do it and some people won some cool presents and we all enjoyed some great BBQ from Destination Smokehouse! Once again, I am amazed by the generosity of our vendors who brought in about half of the give away items and nearly everyone was able to win something, from TV’s to a drone to tools and tool cases. Thank you to the MVAC family for all of your hard work throughout the year!

Today we spun the Honor “ROLL” wheel for two employees who have both been recognized for going above and beyond with their duties for MVAC.

The First Nomination was sent to me from Charles C.

The second nominee was nominated by the Service Department: This individual came over to from the Construction side to help with a severely shorthanded and busy Service Department. He has done so without a complaint and he has excelled by hitting the ground running and has been a huge help to us. He has asked the right questions when necessary and done everything asked of him.

At the beginning of this year, MVAC developed an HONOR "ROLL" award program where MVAC employees can nominate their coworkers for going "above and beyond" or for consistently being a great teammate in the office or in the field. Upon being nominated and approved by immediate supervisors, we spin the prize wheel to determine what the reward will be. Prizes range from approximately $60 to $200 in value.

Today we gave the wheel a spin for someone who was a unanimous choice of the Project Managers and the Construction Field Supervisor!

The project management team stated that this employee has a great attitude, is always willing to help, works hard and completes his safety lessons weekly!

Maxing out this crane over here at Coastline Church in Carlsbad! Setting some Mitsubishi VRF Condensing Units and some CaptiveAire DOAS Units. Major thanks to Bob's Crane Service for the help today. This is an interesting one due to the 171' reach and the Mechanical Well being lower than the actual crane.

Our crew worked extra hard on this "time critical" Unit replacement on an occupied hospital. Special shout-out to our Service Supervisor Wes and Service Technician Rio for working out an extremely challenging control set-up from scratch! Great work by everyone involved with the project!!

We're finishing up a large furniture warehouse and showroom in Murrieta CA. Great job by all involved with this project!!

Today we spun the MVAC HONOR “ROLL” for a Nominee who was nominated by Charles C. Charles advices us that this Nominee was nominated due to his punctuality, and his willingness to work on any job doing whatever is asked of him. Charles says that this co-worker always follows instructions and is a good guy to be around.

Last week, we spun the MVAC HONOR “ROLL” for a Nominee who was nominated by Jacob B (a previous winner). This Nominee was quickly agreed with by the Project Managers due to his punctuality, reliability, and his willingness to learn and to work hard. Jacob said that this individual insists on doing quality work and will not drop his tools until he’s completed or reached a safe condition to do so.

On Tuesday, we spun the Honor "Roll" wheel For Merissa, our Service Coordinator. Merissa was nominated by Wes, our Service Field Supervisor.

"Merissa goes above and beyond and even answers the Service Tech's calls after hours and on weekends" - Wes.

Merissa won one of the newest prizes added to the wheel, a Ring Video Doorbell.

Starting in 2021 we will begin recognizing those employees who are nominated by their coworkers for having gone above and beyond in the performance of their work. These nominations can be for a certain incident of exemplary service or for consistent outstanding completion of their duties. If the nominee is found to have met the requirements of this award, they will win a Spin of the Honor “Roll” and receive the Prize that the wheel lands on. ALL employees are eligible for nomination.

Employee Spotlight - Wes Harrelson, Service Field Supervisor
Wes is an extremely talented and experienced Service technician. He also has a great sense of humor and is fun to be around. He recently accepted the role of Service Field Supervisor and has stepped up to handle that position very well by passing along advice and assistance to the other Tech's whenever he can. His willingness to take phone calls and Service Calls at all hours proves his dedication to MVAC and we are lucky to have him.

The Construction Division finished a nice little project for AMR in Menifee working with the Service Division to complete the start-up. Norton Iron in Hemet built some great, custom Security Cages for us.

Quick equipment replacement at a high end desert resort. Great work by the Crane Operator and our guys on a blind lift!

Finishing up Bolero Winery at Europa Village. Going to be a great place. There are 11 Casitas about 40 feet from the tasting room and restaurant. We also just started another winery right next to it in Europa Village called The Vienza Wine Cave that is going to be really nice.

Although not as much as we used to, we are still servicing Cell Phone Towers in remote locations. Our Tech Dustin caught a couple quick shots from a mountain top out in the Valley!
