How tenacious is nature? My well pump stopped working, so I ordered a replacement. Went to swap it out today and, it wasn't the pump... A mouse got through a small crack of the panel door (maybe 1/4 inch wide), then wiggled through an even smaller crack between the breaker and plate cover just to chew through a small wire and disable the well pump...WOW!

Community EcoArt Project "Mega Crisis Candy Store" scavenger hunt. Hey guys, we have about 40 candy dispensers in our bones yard and I want to make an art installation of "All the things that need Change..." I would like to fill the dispensers with mini representations of our declining systems and ways of living(about a shoebox amount for each theme). If you have some of these things you'd like to donate, here's my list:
Military related stuff: tiny GI Joe guns, Plastic army men, mini tanks, battleships, and random bullets...
Banking and finance: Monopoly pieces & fake money
Small toys & objects related to industrial agriculture, logging and fishing, Energy, Transportation, Waste and Pollution, Big Pharma, Education, Technology, Consumerism, Politics, etc... Other thematic candy dispensers can be related to: reproduction, race, relationships, sexuality, addiction, etc...
I'm open to more thematic suggestions (there's about 40 possibilities)... think "playfully dark."
For the interior of the candy store, I'd would also like some old mirrored closet doors (to reflect what really needs to change -- us).
