Ej20g Closed Deck Engine! Engine is rebuilt by P2P Racing (the engine builders for Kraken Motorsports!) due to a oil pump pressure failure causing #4 rod bearing to fail.
Short block is built with a brand new crank, STI pistons and rods while maintaining the oem closed deck block!
Engine only has a few miles on it, still in break-in period. Heads are resurfaced valves checked/ground!

Today I have this beautiful 1997 Subaru WRX STI. Daily ready rocking the EJ20K 2.01 Turbo engine with 5 speed manual transmission. Has cold AC, hot heat, everything functions as it should. No leaks, no check engine lights it's super solid. Normal surface rust for the age as you can see by the under carriage photos. 206k kms (128k miles). Passenger (left) door was replaced due to damage at the lock from an attempted break in during previous owners ownership. Selling car like this for now while I'm gone. I will be doing a Respray on it when I return if it's not sold and will raise the price accordingly. New Head Gaskets and timing belt service recently done. Car is ready to hit the road! Line The Sky Imports here! We are hiring! We are a JDM import shop as well as a general mechanic/dealership. As a very small shop owned by my wife and I (currently 1 person shop workong; just myself, the shop owner) we are currently looking for 1, part time, as needed employee for our shop in Haslet Texas! We're right outside of Rhome on the 114 freeway.

Our position for now, as we start to expand business, is a part time, as needed employee. We are unable to financially provide an ongoing part time position at the moment so it will be an on-call, as needed basis based on work we start getting into the shop. I encourage our future employee to have their own part/full time job elsewhere outside of this position.

Our position will eventually become a normal part time and possibly full time position in the future as shop income stabilizes as we get more work coming in. The pay is $20 per hour on an as needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS:
*ASE Certified mechanic PREFERRED but not necessary
*A minimum general knowledge of cars and trucks required
*Knowledge of Diesel engines and how to work on them is a bonus (diesel trucks is about 20-30% of the work we do)
*Hours and availability will fluxuate and we will be extremely flexible around any other job/priorities you have

PROVIDED:
*Air Conditioned Break Room
*Shop tools for almost any job (employee encouraged to provide their own tools but not required)
*Breaks can be any length employee wants but are unpaid
*Fridge Microwave and Utensils
