Our high school teams wrapped up their season today at the Nevada State Championship. Congrats to our team J on winning the Judges award and to team M on becoming Tournament Finalists and receiving an invitation to represent Nevada at the World Championship in Dallas, TX this April! 🤖 We are proud of all of you. Team 21517 High Maintenance volunteered at Positively Arts last week to demonstrate FIRST robotics Core Values and model the engineering design process. Participants learned problem solving skills, how to drive the robot, and how to design a unique snowman. ⛄️

Congratulations to our middle school teams that attended the MS VRC State Championship today. All our teams made the finals! Our team 74177A won the Judges Award and team 74177C won Think Award for their Autonomous Programming. We are so proud of how much these teams were able to accomplish and learn during their first rookie season in VRC. 🤖

Congratulations to our FTC team #21517 High Maintenance on winning the Tournament Finalists, Connect Award and 1st runner-up Inspire Award for Southern Nevada. They have qualified to compete in Reno this March at the Nevada State Championship. In addition, we have two FIRST Robotics Dean’s List Semi-finalists on our team, Deonna and Sophia. Congratulations team! Way to go!

Another tournament yesterday at O’Callaghan. Our teams A, B, C , E and H had a long day and worked hard. Congratulations to team A on winning the Design Award and team H on becoming Tournament Finalists!

What an amazing day for our middle school Vex IQ teams! Team V got Excellence Award, Teamwork Champions and 1st place Skills and team W got Judges Award at Faith Lutheran Tournament. Team X got 2nd Place Teamwork and team Y got 3rd Place Teamwork and 2nd Place Skills at Lied STEM Academy! All of our teams made the finals. We are so proud of you and your hard work is showing. We are excited for the State Championship next weekend. 🤖

One of our middle school teams and three elementary school teams had a great first tournament this weekend. MS team Y became Teamwork Champions and received Think Award for their autonomous programming. Our ES team K received a Build award and our ES team R received an Excellence award in Elementary category and they currently hold 1st place in skills ranking among Nevada elementary teams! We had a blast hosting a blended ES & MS VIQC Robotics Tournament yesterday at Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon. Three of our high school teams attended the VRC tournament in Ely today. They started the day by watching the solar eclipse together. All three teams made it to quarter finals and had an amazing time.

Our middle school Vex IQ robotics team 74177V The Patriots had a great day at the Ring of Fire tournament in Ely. They won 🥇 1st Place Skills Award, Excellence Award, and Tournament Finalist award. Congratulations team, we are so proud of you!
