We have gone to church with this family for many years. They were dreamy to photograph!

I think it is high time that I posted some work on my page. I will start with one of my favorite sessions from last year. I always have so much fun with this family. I love these client-turned-friends.

There is no debating that last year was rough. 😩 When news of Corona/Covid became prevalent and changes started to be made to how we could live our daily lives... my photography was temporarily placed on the back burner. 😷
However, regardless of shut-downs, restrictions, gloves and masks... life still carried on. People still had babies and families still wanted their memories captured. Although I did not advertise my services last year... I was still able to help preserve memories for those that sought me out. ♥️
I would like to share some of my work from 2020. It’s been almost a year since I photographed this beauty. 🎀 She was a little slice of Heaven. My favorite part was seeing how her two older brothers were completely infatuated with her. 🌸

I was not only busy photographing beautiful families this fall... I was also busy in the studio with lots of little babies! ( Thank you Valentines Day :P

Meet the Taylor family.

When I was going through looking at their images (trying unsuccessfully to narrow them down) the word "JOY" kept popping up in my head- over and over again. This family exudes JOY.

Just TRY to look through their pictures without smiling. It is not possible. I am so glad they have chosen me to capture their memories. I love trying to freeze the little moments of childhood so they can remember and re-live it. I love the sweet bond this family shares with each other.

I have been photographing this family since 2016 BC... BEFORE CHILDREN!!! :P

It has been a privilege watching them grow before my very eyes. I love them so much.

This is the Krshul Family.

These parents created my most favorite human EVER. I have photographed Jenny and Nick with their son, Bradley, since he was only 12 months old. He is 6 years now... the same age as my son, Perry, and is the happiest little guy I know. His smile, his laugh, his excitement for life, melt my heart and inspire me.

Meet the Schmidt Family.

They give me life. Abby found me years ago to photograph her first baby's newborn session. She has been a KINDRED SPIRIT ever since. Every time I get to photograph this family and the love and fun they bring, I fall in love with photography all over again.

I apologize in advance for the over share, I just could not narrow down my favorites from their session! The camera loves them ALMOST as much as I do!

I always sympathize with families that have a baby shortly after Christmas! It seems everyone is financially strapped and emotionally drained after the holidays (or is that just me? 🤔🤣) I have TWO kids born in January. I remember struggling to come up with money for newborn pictures soon after Christmas and on top of hospital fees... it was stressful!

I had such an overwhelmingly busy season of Fall Family Sessions this past September - December 2019. (THANK YOU TO MY MOST FABULOUS CLIENTS, OLD AND NEW! 🙌) Aside from newborns, I usually take January to recover and spend much needed time with my family! I would love to share with you guys some of my fall highlights. 🍁

🌵This is the final schedule for ALL available dates that I will have for family sessions for the rest of the year. Unfortunately, due to family and travel restrictions, I will not be able to add any dates like I did last year. These will have to be on a first come, first served basis.

🌵PLEASE make sure to check the day of the week, the location, travel time etc thoroughly. PLEASE wait to book if you think there is a chance you may not make it. You will lose your deposit and I lose a slot that could have been offered to someone else. Not fun for either of us.

🌵Something SPECIAL this year will be a "styling"service offered to all of my families that book. You will receive a short questionnaire to fill out about your family. This information will then be calculated and a reply of suggested looks for clothing, styling and color pallets for your session will be readily available! 💥IT'S ALMOST TIME!!!!!!💥

🍁 Fall Family Mini Sessions are right around the corner! I wanted to give everyone advanced notice of when I will be posting this years availability so you can be on the look out.

🍂 There are a few changes this year. I have tried to shift my family photography to a more "story telling" approach. I want to play, have fun, and capture all of the little "in-between" moments that you want to remember of you and your family at this stage in life. A touch of the cheek, holding hands, belly laughing- those are the memories you want to relive over and over. While I will still capture that perfectly posed "Christmas card" photo, be prepared to come and play and interact at our session. With that goal in mind, I feel that the previous 20 minute slots are an inadequate amount of time to accomplish that emotion that I am looking to capture. So, you will see adjustments not only in the time slots, but in the amount of families that I am able to book on one day and one location. I won't be able to have as many slots available.

🍁 With that being said, I am going to fit as many of you as I can in this fall! I have a great schedule of BEAUTIFUL locations! I will be posting that schedule THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will post the exact details in the coming days.

🍂 Here is a sneak peek of the type of session pictures you can expect and look forward to! This is at one of my favorite locations. I am permitted for this site and it will definitely be on the fall schedule. It will be very very limited availability due to property restrictions, but a few lucky families will get to shoot here!

The much anticipated Mr. Jaxson was born at just under 10 pounds and had edible cheeks. Seriously.

I had the pleasure of meeting the most darling little ANGEL today! Sweet Miss Brynley was diagnosed before she was born with CDH (Congenital diaphragmatic hernia) which is a defect in an unborn baby’s diaphragm. Shortly after birth, she had to undergo a risky surgery to put her organs (stomach, liver and colon) back to where they should be and repair the hole in her diaphragm. Miraculously, she came through with flying colors and is healing wonderfully! She was so sweet and all smiles for her session! Thanks to my good friend, Debbie Dixon, for introducing me to her mommy and assisting today! Please join with me to pray for Brynley's continued healing.
