"At the Seawall” by Hendersonville artist Marsha Hammel - a 40x32 inch oil on canvas. Marsha says she's looking forward to the height of summer, with its warm breezes, brilliant blue sky and amazing light. "Oh, the light- so crisp and clear it needs to be filtered," she says. "My paint tubes are happy, lounging in the heat under the windows, waiting to be gently massaged, oozing linseed oil, making a fine mess. Time to hang white sheets over the studio windows."
