Local events, where meeting people is what it’s all about, have generally always been my jam - I guess you could call me a "talker," "people person," "extrovert," but the truth is - I've developed a bit of social anxiety recently. Most would never know; I guess I've learned to talk my way out of anyone actually recognizing this about me. However, it's real and while I struggle, I also THRIVE around people! So, when I try to talk myself out of doing an event, I try to remember how fulfilled I feel at the end of each event.

Most of these days start off with a lot of negative emotions and generally, within the first couple hours, I realize, “Hey, I CAN do this after all.” I’ve come to realize it is just a fear inside of me that I need to overcome.

⁉️❓My point? Don’t let FEAR control your life. Step out of your box. Be uncomfortable if you need to. Be yourself. Persevere. Keep going. If I can do it, you, too, can overcome your own internal negative “voice” and conquer obstacles that you never knew you could. Try it. THRIVE.

Throwback to last week when my husband and I were on vacation…by ourselves…zero kids!! The first of its kind that we’ve had in years.

🧳 ✈️ Traveling right now comes with its ups and downs and some people choose to avoid it altogether. The amount of germs 🦠 on an airplane….I don’t even want to think about it 😷 Regardless, being on a flight to Colorado and back, I knew we’d need to be sure to do our part in staying healthy and keeping our immunity boosted.

👋 Hi, I’m Jessica, mommy of 3. I may have a smile on my face in this picture, but I’ll be the first to admit, there wasn’t a whole lot of smiling in our house these past couple of weeks. Just as soon as school started back this year, sure enough, those back-to-school germs 🦠 hit us hard. My oldest two got sick and missed 5 days, followed by our youngest being hospitalized overnight with a virus that affected his breathing.
