This is an all-expenses-paid event, but 4-Hers must earn their place through participation and completion of 4-H electric program.
Sam and Aaron enjoyed hands-on workshops, educational sessions with industry experts, and a career fair encouraging interactions with power company representatives at this year’s 4-H Electric Congress!

Know Before You Grow: Asparagus
🌱Asparagus is a long term investment! A well prepared, well cared for asparagus bed can be productive for ten years or more, so choose its spot carefully. Asparagus grows tall with fern-like foliage which could make an attractive garden border or backdrop.
🌱Quick Facts
An asparagus plant can last 15 years.
Crowns grow vertically and horizontally. Planting at the right depth is important.
Good soil moisture is important at planting for good root and fern growth.
Begin harvest two years after planting crowns, and three years after planting seeds.
