Just picked up over 900 pieces of Fiesta. This collection belonged to Dan, a local customer who passed away the day after Hurricane Helene hit our town. I will be spending the next week sorting and pricing. Some will be sold during our live sales. I don't have a date yet, but soon I hope. I am also looking at setting up some auctions on our website. We are safe and doing as good as we can. We lost power early Friday Morning and water Saturday. Cell service is limited but slowly improving.
It took us 4.5 hours on Saturday to get gas for our generator. Will need to get more tomorrow. More places are getting power back and a few more gas stations are opening up but it’s crazy.
We had about 10 trees down around the house or in the woods. Two fell across the driveway. Thankfully we had help from neighbors. Together we helped to clear our street of four trees and to clear our driveway.
We received over 17” of rain in 4 days and Paul saw a wind gust of 40 MPH before the power went out.
Rocco has several trees down and the power line knocked off his house. But no other damage. He does not have cell service. He did drive up on Saturday to check on us.
Keli and Neil are also doing good. Several trees came down around their house. Thankfully none on the house. They have a whole house generator and water. So we have been able to go there and get a shower. Her cell service is very limited from her house. Just texting. Their business is fine also.
We are so fortunate over so many others in our area.
