Working on a new collection of belt buckles in silver and can be found at the Lucy Clark Gallery in Brevard NC
A gorgeous belt can make an outfit.
I am doing the studio tour called Fall for Art on October 21st and 22nd. I will show again with Cynthia Wilson in Laurel Park. Working on several fun new pieces.
This silver and gold brooch now lives in Manhattan on a lawyers sports coat. Thank you Stephen.
Available at the Lucy Clark Gallery in Brevard.
My first full week back in the studio. I’m still struggling with some hammering but muscle memory is helping. I delivered work to the Lucy Clark Gallery and the Grovewood Gallery today. I have lots of catch up to do but up for the challenge.
Great article in the Laurel of Asheville this month. Check it out. I will be at the Grovewood Gallery tomorrow showing work as well as a video of me working on my teapot collection. Hope you will stop by and have a cup of cheer.
I am still learning to use my left hand. I go to OT 3 times a week and I am making progress. I hope to be back working in the studio in January. Thank you for all the encouragement I have received. It's good to be on the mend.
I have been working on a collection of brooches for the upcoming studio tour and I will be with Cynthia Wilson. Two weeks ago I broke my left wrist and I need that hand to work. Figuring life out. Gravity was not my friend. I will have some work just not what I thought I would have. Hope you will stop by for the tour. October 21st weekend.
Summer teaching and travel has ended and heading to the studio to create. Stay tuned I feel the energy flowing.
I am not doing the Southern Highland show but you can see my work at the Grovewood Gallery up at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville or Lucy Clark Gallery in Brevard.
Rose gold hoops on there way to a lovely lady in PA that I met about 30 years ago at a show. She will look fantastic in them.
About 5 years ago I ended doing shows with the American Craft Council. I thought I was retiring. Funny thing is I'm not sure artists really retire. I worked on a collection of raised tea pots, going back to my roots. Loved every minute of hammering even though at times I thought my arm might give out! Well I'm back in the studio doing jewelry for 2 galleries and having fun. You can find my work at Lucy Clark Gallery in Brevard NC and the Grovewood Gallery in Asheville NC. I will continue teaching in the summer and I think all of this will keep me off the streets. I know I'm not great at keeping up on my social media page but will try to show some new work as it happens.
Thank you for following along my journey.
I have always thought men should embrace wearing a brooch. This piece is in silver and 14k with peridot. I made it for Richard and happy he is excited to wear it. Big thank you to Wesley Snipes for sporting a brooch at the Oscar’s.
Finished this piece today. Hollow form gold and silver with a gold silver chain. 16 inches long. Lovely on if I do say so myself.
Love this simple tool in the studio. Taking 14ga wire down to 18ga. 14k work hardens quickly.
Working on new photos for a website
Excited to be in this fabulous Gallery.
Silver and 14k links 16inches long.
Just got back my teapot back from the photographer and a professional shot. This was a challenge to raise and fit. Metalsmiths will get that. Will start a new one in January.
Gold and silver oxidized beads. Handmade of course. My perfect length 17 inches.
This long necklace different from my usual curves. A little Deco a little edgy. Silver and gold 32 inches long.
With the Holidays just around the corner thought I would post a few things that are available and will accessorize your beautiful self.
I was planning to work in my studio today and this happened.
