Today is a day to remember those who have sacrificed for us to have our daily freedoms. In observation of Memorial Day we will be closed today, May 27th.

Here are a few set ups we have made this week. Fletcher Park for an event, a construction unit for remodeling, and another event at Hendersonville Airport. We offer standard units, handicap accessible units, and hand washing stations for any event or construction needs.

We are thankful to our customers who support our small, local, family owned and operated business. Here at Hendersonville Portable Toilets we strive to make your rental the best!

Our condolences goes out to Camp Wayfarer. They have been a staple in the community and this loss is devastating for them. While we may have lost a unit they lost their livelihood. Please pray for those who have endured this. Thankful no lives were lost and thank you to those who fought so hard to save this place!

I’m not ignoring you, I’m overwhelmed. Small business owners will understand 100% that the constant emails, constant text messages, constant phone calls are the absolute worst, best problem to have. You want business to grow, you want to succeed, but you can’t do it all. And navigating how to afford payroll, liability insurance, workers compensation insurance, shop rent, equipment costs, utilities, marketing, vehicles, maintenance on everything, is overwhelming in just itself.

The phone rings, it’s an unknown number (potential client), is it the next $500k a year client? Who knows, but you know that you can’t possibly manage taking on more work. You ignor it and get back to that part your designing. The phone rings again, a current customer wanting to know progress of their project. You don’t want to let them down but also don’t know how to tell them you’ve been crippled by the stress of business and have fallen behind on their project. So you get back to work, hoping that somehow someway you can finish their product in the next 24 hours. You’re back to work, an email comes in, that utility bill you forgot and pushed aside 2 weeks ago is overdue and this is a pre shut off notice. You stop, call the city and handle the bill, back to work. A text comes through, another great past client requesting a bid, and the bid deadline is in 6 hours. You stop, review the design and blueprints, compile a material take off and request 3 different quotes on materials. You get back to work while you wait. Five minutes later a quote comes in, you review and mentally study the pricing in your mind, back to work. The other quotes come in 15 minutes later, back to compiling your quote, you finalize and submit the quote. Back to work, another return client shows up asking for a “quick” favor. 2 hours later, back to work on the design. You now realize it’s 6 o clock, your family is sitting down for yet another dinner without dad. Dep no ression level rises, you tell yourself “it won’t be this way forever” and get back to work. Two hours later, you’re sixteen hours deep into your shift, you know you can still make it home in time to still get five hours of sleep before doing it all again. Except you lay in bed thinking about business, that five hours of sleep quickly became three. Your alarm goes off, you get out of bed, quietly get ready for work as to not wake your sleeping family. You leave without ever seeing them awake. Back to work for another day of the same stuff. Oh and that project you quoted yesterday? Your bid was too high. The client has a brother in law who was a pipe fitter in the Union and will do the job for half your price.

You want business to grow so badly but can’t fathom how to make it happen. You make the business owner life look so good by the fake front you have to constantly wear, that now your employees want to go and do it too, so they quit. Your “friends”? They quit checking on you. They will came around when they see you succeeding again. Now your mental health, and coincidentally your physical health, weighs heavily on your shoulders. Is it worth the hard work? Is it worth the stress? Is it worth the anxiety? I’m here to tell you, keep your head up, stay strong, because “it won’t be this way forever”. And get back to work.

Thankful for the good Lord above today!!! 🙏 I am not sure which guardian angels were watching over us today but I wouldn't be here without them. You never truly know when something might go wrong. No matter how much experience or know how you have, you cannot prevent everything. This was a freak accident. Only we were involved thankfully. Thank you to my husband for helping me out of the passenger side onto the gurney and into the ambulance. Thank you Henderson County EMS and Flat Rock Fire Dept and Advent Health.

We are OKAY!!!! We are without a service truck at this moment but, we are working diligently to find another means. We promise to ALL of our customers that we will make sure you are taken care of one way or another. Thank you for your understanding. All I can say, is we are blessed. Thank GOD neither of our children were working with us today. 🙏 Please bare with us during these trials and tribulations.

Michael was more than just an employee to us here at Hendersonville Portable Toilets. He was family. We mourn the loss of him and are truly missing him each and every single day. He was an amazing man and person to each and every individual he came across. Please bear with us during this time as our company is experiencing a terrible and tough loss. We enjoyed his quirky comments, smile, his contagious laugh, and will always remember his beautiful soul. Michael grew up with Al and they have known each other for a long time. This is never easy loosing someone much less someone so close to your heart. Rest easy brother and enjoy your mama. Please pray for the family and our company during this trying time. Just a reminder that we are a SMALL business. This means, my husband, myself, and our one and only employee do ALL operations together. Memorial day weekend is coming soon! If you are having an event or pool party and would like the foot traffic to stay minimal inside your house and keep your septic up call us! We will deliver and set up the unit requested to make easy access for any users. We have handicap accessible units as well! We service 5 counties! Henderson, Polk, Rutherford, Transylvania, and Buncombe.

Due to the flood waters we will be closed today as we try to assess what damage to our equipment and property this may have caused us.
