One of my favorite Joni lp's. The sound quality is amazing even on the standard pressing! Incredible bass and dynamics!

Believe it or not, one of my favorite and most played Pink Floyd albums. Very underrated in my opinion. My Japanese copy is awesome!

It has been too long since I posted an album of the day. I found this at Goodwill for $2.50. It is very well recorded and the music is awesome. I recognized Leland Sklar of course. Apparently this is James Taylor's band simply recording Jazz music they like to jam to. Very cool!

My darling bride and I decided to take Sugaree on an outing today for Brendan Abbotts graduation party. So much fun w great friends! Sugaree rocked it!

So, another installation of a turntable based system today for a very happy client today. You have to love a Red P3 REGA! Soundsmith cartridge to boot!

I became and instant fan of this album 2 minutes into the first cut. Absolutely a masterpiece of a singer/songwriter in his genre' which I am struggling to identify. Country/folk/rock? Just awesome music!

Album of the day. I cannot believe this turns 50 this year! I simply loved "How Long" when it was released. A really good one-hit-wonder. 😊

LP of the day. First lp I ever purchased with my own money. One of the greatest live albums ever! I loved "I'll give you money." Frampton comes alive!

This lp from Joni represents her experimentation with jazz in its finest hour. Larry Carlton on guitar doesn't hurt. One of my favorites and this is the rare speakers corner version.

Lp of the day is awesome MOFI version of Mars Hotel by the dead. This pressing is quite desireable. Scarlet Begonias!

So, next lp on deck that has my ultimate vote. Graham Parsons and co' at their finest. Can't believe it was 1969! Chris Hilman on this as well. Gilded Palace of Sin.

LP of the day today is the great Moving Pictures by Rush. One of the first lp's I purchased with my grass cutting money! Countless hits and no real "b sides" at all. Goodness from 1981.

Album of the day goes to the Byrds 71 at the Royal Albert Hall. If you are a Byrds fan, it is a must own. Greatest 8 miles high ever!

LP of the day is here. I just picked up an Analogue productions version of this classic. While not a huge fan of the band, I LOVE The Ballad of Curtis Loew. Also VERY difficult to find an lp with this many radio hits! Happy listening! Tim S.

OK guys, This LP is very special to me in many ways. It was one of the first lp's I purchased with money made from yard work, paper route, etc. Montgomery Ward at Parham and Patterson! By- Tor and the Snow Dog is one amazing tune and one of my top favs.

So, onward with the meaningful lp's in my life. This is in my top 10 and the amazing one-step version just arrived! I honestly do not know how I would have made it through the agonizing death of my Dad without this lady's music. Blue by Joni Mitchell.

Guys, I am going to begin a regular announcement of lp's that have a specific meaning in my life. I have been catching up on some older Dead albums recently and this one happens to be the second one I ever owned. Not known as one of their greatest but gives us Row Jimmy which is in my top 10! 1973 of course. Note the Thalhimers sticker! Happy listening! Tim
