Inginia Genao, MD, Penn State College of Medicine vice dean of diversity, equity and belonging, recently joined the Penn State Dickinson Law Antiracist Development Institute (ADI) scale-up launch event. The event introduced the ADIโs mission to disrupt systemic racial inequality through collaborative focus groups.

Professor Keith Cheng has been awarded a $3.8 million grant from to push the boundaries of 3D imaging technology. This groundbreaking technique, known as "X-ray histotomography," promises to revolutionize how we visualize tissues and organs with incredible detail.
By capturing detailed 3D images of entire organisms and tissue samples, this technology has the potential to enhance cancer diagnosis and open new avenues for medical research. With the ability to see inside tissues at a microscopic level, scientists and doctors could gain insights into diseases and develop more effective treatments.

Researchers at Penn State College of Medicine have been awarded more than $8.5 million from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute to conduct a study on the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and trazodone on sleep and blood pressure in individuals with insomnia.
