Registration for Before and After School 2024-2025 is now open!

Registration costs $25 per student.

Morning Care is from 6:30 AM-8:00 AM and is $10 a day.

After Care is from 3:00-5:30 PM and is $15 a day.

All day (where school is closed, but Before and After Care is open) is from 6:30 AM-5:30 PM and is $45 a day.

Students are ONLY BILLED FOR DAYS THEY ARE IN ATTENDANCE.

We fill before and after care based on availability. Please register as soon as possible.

Our Before and After Care handbook can be located on our website by choosing Families>Documents>Before and After/Summer Care Program or through the mobile app by choosing documents>Before and After/Summer Care Program.

Online Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year is now open!
Online Registration is only open until August 12th. You MUST register by the deadline. Students cannot attend if they are not registered.

Make sure to hit the complete step button at the bottom of every screen. All fees are due at the time of registration.

All Elementary homerooms are available, Junior High and High School Schedules will not be available until the first week of August when guidance returns in case any scheduling changes need to be made.

New Option: You can add a $25.00 Donation to HOPE, Boosters, or a High School Graduation Class ( 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028) during registration! You add the optional fees the same way you add athletics and activities to your students account during registration! You must click FEE MANAGEMENT ON THE LEFT SIDE OF SKYWARD and then click Add fee and choose!

IMPORTANT Fall Athletics & Activities Reminder: Please remember your student must have a current physical on file before they are allowed to participate this fall. Select your students sports and activities during registration in Skyward by clicking ADD fee on the FEE MANAGEMENT tab.

Please make sure all Health Forms are turned in for the 2024-2025 School Year!

The American Red Cross CRITICALLY needs all blood types at this time following a concerning recent trend – fewer donors giving lifesaving blood. Donors of all blood types are needed now, especially those with type O blood. About 20,000 fewer blood donations were collected over the past month than needed to protect the Red Cross national blood supply. When fewer people donate, blood products can start to disappear from hospital shelves, but patients counting on lifesaving transfusions have no time to wait.

United Church of Heyworth is hosting a blood drive on Friday, June 28th from 1:00-6:00pm and we need all eligible and potential donors to donate at this time. It’s not too late to make your appointment. Below is the direct link to sign up. Walk-ins are also encouraged. As a thank you all presenting donors will receive a $15 E-GIFT CARD merchant of choice! Thank you for making our Spring Book Fair amazing and helping to make sure our students will have NEW books awaiting them in August 2024! Meanwhile, let the summer reading begin!

Congratulations to the Heyworth High School Class of 2024 from the Board of Education and Superintendent Taylor! This class had a lot of success in academics, athletics and fine arts. It’s also the largest number of graduates enlisting in the armed forces for quite some time. Thank you for your service and best wishes to all of you.

It's a great day to be a Hornet!!! Congratulations to both the Heyworth softball and baseball teams as they each won back to back IHSA Regional Championships today!!

The softball team beat Argenta-Oreana 4-0 and advanced to the LeRoy Sectional. They will play Villa-Grove on Tuesday, 5/21, at 4:30 PM at LeRoy High School.

The baseball team beat Ridgeview 10-0 and advanced to the Illinois Wesleyan Sectional. They will play Peru (St Bede) on Wednesday, 5/22, at 4:00 PM at Illinois Wesleyan University.

State Senator Sally Turner Launches 2024 Outstanding Teacher Program


To recognize and honor incredible educators who make a difference in the lives of their students, State Senator Sally Turner (R-Beason) has launched her “2024 Outstanding Teacher of the 44th Senate District” program. The program seeks nominations for teachers who illustrate dedication and excellence in their teaching practices. Community members, parents, students, and colleagues are encouraged to submit nominations for deserving teachers who have made a significant impact on their students and communities. “I am excited to launch my ‘2024 Outstanding Teacher of the 44th Senate District’ program and recognize an exceptional teacher who has gone above and beyond for their students,” said Senator Turner. “I encourage everyone to participate in this program and nominate teachers who they believe have made a positive impact on their students’ lives. “Nominees must currently teach at a grade, middle, or high school that resides in the 44th Senate District. The winner will be selected based on the quality of their nomination, not the quantity of submissions. Nominations can be submitted online through Senator Turner’s official governmental website through May 17th. The selected teacher will receive recognition from the Illinois State Senate, including an official certificate, an opportunity for special acknowledgment in Springfield, and a gift card as a token of appreciation. “This program is just a small token of the immense gratitude that I have for every single teacher throughout our state and nation,” continued Senator Turner.
