We are pleased to announce the addition of Michael Cook to the Superior Screen & Glass family.
Michael comes to us with over 24 years of experience in the glass industry. He will primarily head the commercial and storefront aspects of our business but will also be integral to the replacement and installation of residential screen & glass products.

Last evening we finished installing new Suntex 97 screen in this beautiful home on the lake! This material significantly reduces light from entering the space and creates significant privacy for those inside the space.

Our shop will be closed much of the day as we work on homes in the area. We suggest you call ahead if you planned on stopping by today.

It’s that time of year when windows start getting opened as the air warms and spring starts to flourish. This is also the time many people realize some of their screens and windows are in need of replacement/repair.
We are happy to help make your screens and windows look and work great again, but we must ask for your patience as demand exceeds our time to get things done.
We are currently running on at least a 2 week delay on most items and are awaiting resupply of some key materials. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep all our customers happy & satisfied with the products and services we provide!

We’ve had a bit of an emotional week with the passing of Evan’s friend and the services last evening. But through it all one thing remains constant - and Pastor Mark Myers on Sunday morning made it clear as part of his message - and so I’m sharing this clip today in the hopes that it touches someone and moves them to action.

Recently completed a whole-house window replacement! Took out old wooden windows and installed American-made vinyl double hung replacements with full screens! Upstairs and basement were typical style while downstairs utilized oriel-style sashes.

A chilly but beautiful night in downtown Hickory.

As the weather is cooling now is the best time to bring your screens in for replacement and repair - so that we have time to get them done and you won’t have to keep those windows closed when the weather starts to warm again this spring!

This week we will be closing at 3pm on Monday, Nov 6. On Friday, November 10, our shop will be manned by the infamous Tony Eckard! If you’d like to stop in and see him then by all means make your plans to do so.

We are open until 4pm today. We will be CLOSED next week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday. We will be open limited hours next Wednesday but will not be leaving the shop. We will answer the phones during that time but for the remainder of the week we will be unavailable for calls, texts, or email. We will reopen for normal hours etc on Monday, October 30.

We will not be able to perform any installations or out-of-office work from Monday, October 23, through Friday, October 27. We expect to be fully operational again on Monday, October 30.
We will have someone at the shop on Wednesday, October 25, but otherwise we will NOT BE ABLE to respond to phone, text, or email that week.

It’s a beautiful day in downtown Hickory! The summer heat and humidity is temporarily bothering someplace else.
