This session was so fun! I got to take this sweet couple’s prom pictures a few years ago and was so excited when they asked me to take their engagement photos as well! Even though it was super chilly, we laughed and joked with each other the whole time and made this session a dream!

I love how Instagram can bring you to the coolest people! Ally and I connected and chatted through Instagram for some time so I was pumped when she asked me to take her senior portraits! Who else has a fur baby?! This handsome boy is one of my fur babies! His name is Captain and he was a package deal when I married my husband (the other handsome guy in the photo 😂). Captain is part husky so he can be dramatic at times but overall he’s the chillest, goodest boy there is 🥰!

Hello y’all! It’s me, EmilyAnn! Just wanted to say hey and tell you a little bit about me.

My life is filled with me doing a little bit of a lot of things 😅! I’m a grad student, a Resident Director, a new wife 🥰, a friend, and photographer! My love for photography started when I was in middle school working on a 4-H project. That’s when I got my first camera and started taking pictures of everything! But, sadly, my fear of not being good enough stopped me from pursuing photography further. It wasn’t until I got my first DSLR camera when I was 25 that I allowed myself to try photography again. I started taking photos of friends just for the fun of it then started teaching myself through YouTube and Pinterest tutorials how to actually use my camera! Then the pandemic hit and I desperately needed a creative outlet and to try something new! So I started What A Delight Photography! Since then I’ve taken photos of awesome high school and college seniors, wonderful families, and incredible businesses! I’m proud of how far I’ve come and looking forward to see where God takes me on this journey of taking people’s picture! 📸💛
