ALIVE with the Five 🤍💙💚❤️💛☯️5️⃣

Hello, my dear friends,

In Qigong, we are studying and working with energy: how it works in the world and in the body, and how we can use that understanding to benefit ourselves and the world.

In SFQ Level 1, we learn that "anything and everything in the world contains all the information of the universe."
And those who practice the Five Element Healing Movements learn that simply by understanding the nature and relationship of the five elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, we can "understand the formation of energy in the body and in the universe."

The people who developed Qigong thousands of years ago realized certain emotions relate to certain organ systems.

So, if there’s too much of that emotion, that tells you its corresponding energy-system has problems, and when you indulge in that emotion too much or too strongly, it harms that energy-system.

Here, we’re not talking about “good” or “bad,” “right” or “wrong,” but simply the observations Qigong Masters have made for thousands of years about how the body works, and how the mind and emotions relate to that.

These Masters wanted to know how these things worked so they could enjoy perfect health for a long life.

They noticed long ago that as spring comes, many people get liver problems.
As summer comes, many people get heart problems.
As fall comes, many people get lung problems.
And as winter comes, many people get kidney problems. Winter is the season of residing in the root, and in Qigong, the kidneys are like the root of the body.

We are born in the world and we live in it; we are in the world, and the world is in us;

In Chinese Five Element Theory, the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water are used to describe many things and the way they interact with each other, including the seasons and the organ systems of the body.

If you can imagine how one Element transforms into the next in that cycle, you can understand a lot about our world.

Imagine –

When you have Wood, it feeds Fire.

Fire’s burning generates ash, to nourish Earth.

Earth condenses to generate Metal. If you imagine

Metal as concentrated Earth, condensing more and more, out of that condensation arises Water.

Water nourishes Wood to continue the cycle.

You can see this easily in the seasons.

Spring is Wood, summer Fire, late summer Earth, fall Metal, and winter Water.

But you can see this in the body, too!

In Spring Forest Qigong, we explain this in terms of emotions (like in the Five Element Qigong Healing Movements course). That course not only teaches healing movements, but fuses them with specific positive emotions to amplify their healing power.

When we feel happy, it’s usually about something. When we have so much happiness (liver energy system), we can express joy – happiness for no reason at all.

When there is so much joy (heart energy system ), it is like the explosion of fireworks or the blossoming of thousands of flowers.

In the wake and after the echoes of that joy, peace (spleen/stomach energy system)follows.

In the fullness of deep peace, we feel satisfaction, contentment (lung energy system)

Knowing contentment, we are moved to express gratitude (kidney energy system)

These are the Five Elements at work in the body and in our world.

Hello, my dear friends,

If you want to experience the higher energy, the higher vibration, you need to let go of your negative thoughts and hold positive thoughts.

If you can let go, if you can balance your energy by neutralizing the thoughts, that’s a very great place to begin.

The more you can focus on that, the faster your positive energy is going to grow, and the more purified your energy will become, and faster you can help yourself with higher level enlightenment.

Then, once you reach the higher vibration, you no longer feel the effects of the lower vibrations.

Trust is defined as ---firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.--- In Qigong trust is connected with Earth Element. From Earth energy, we can also feel balanced and centered. The Yoga pose below shows Tree Pose which requires one to tap into his or her physical balance and by doing so transfers into emotional and mental balance, thereby feeling balanced in your life overall. Cultivate trust in yourself, in the Universe, in YOUR process. Deep Abdominal Breathing can bring you to your center, especially done with meditation. This is how you breathed when you were a baby. Practicing movements with a staggered stance or coming up on the toes and standing with weight on one leg, even if holding onto a chair is needed to begin will require balance and can assist in building trust.

THE TOXINS OF THE HOUSE ARE:

1. Objects You No Longer Use.
2. Clothes You Don't Like Or Haven't Used In A While. Damaged underwear.
3. Broken Things.
4. Old cards and notes.
5. Plants that are dead or sick.
6. Receipts and Old Magazines.
9. Shoes Broke.
7. Stuff of all kinds calling the past.
8. If you have children, toys that are not used, that do not work or broken.

WITH CLEANING THEM OUT:
1. Health gets better.
2. Creativity grows.
3. Relationships get better.
4. There is greater reasoning capacity.
5. Improved mood.

QUESTIONS THAT MIGHT HELP CLEANSING:
- Why am I saving that?
- Is it about me today?
- How will I feel if I release that?
Separate and classify:
1. To donate.
2. To throw.
3. To sell.

INSIDE CLEANING REFLECTED OUTSIDE.
1. Avoid extreme noises.
2. Less strong lights.
3. Less saturated colors.
4. Less chemical odors.
5. Less sad memories.
6. Finish unfinished projects.
7. Cultivate positive energy in your home.
Do a general cleaning and use boxes for organization. Start with drawers and cabinets and conclude each piece, do everything at your pace...
a) Trash.
b) Arrangements.
c) Recycling.
d) In doubt.
e) Gifts.
(f) Donation.
g) Sell.

As you CLEANSE, watch what changes in you.
As we clean our physical house, we also place order to our mind and heart.
Practice detachment with material things that just fill your space and you'll see how you'll slowly be able to do the same with more momentous situations.

Create sacred space….
Create freedom…..
Create abundance …..

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, it is Summer. With our Qigong practice, a time for focusing on the fire element and our heart energy (the heart organ & the heart center). Movements like Ignite Inner Fire, Coming Home to the Heart and Cloudy Hands. Feeding the fire element if need be with wood element moves like Dancing with a Tree. Controlling the fire element with water element moves like Zen Circles. Meditation with color imagery bringing visualization of brilliant red light into your heart organ and healing golden light into the heart center, i.e. middle Tan Tien, emotional center. For a Qigong Practitioner, this is summer.

Exploring our inner truths leads to clearer vision and a sense of purpose…
