Another successful Bumgarner Oil Christmas Party! We are grateful to all employees across our 4 divisions who choose to spend this night with us. This is an opportunity to celebrate the hard work of each and every person we have on our team.

Some specific milestones we celebrated:
✨ Our Cubbard Express stores raised over 35K this year for St. Jude's Children's Hospital!! BOC began matching what the stores raised, which brought this year's amount to over 70K to this amazing cause.

The most special part of our BOC Christmas Party Friday night was the surprise presentation of a painted portrait of our late founder, Glenn Bumgarner who we lost in June of this year. While the night was one of celebration, many also came with a heavy heart of missing Glenn's presence. Two of our long time employees presented this painting to David Bumgarner, our President (and Glenn's son).

We are forever grateful for the legacy he left and the many lives he continues to impact through the solid foundation he built.

Thank you Patty Bailey Sheets for this incredible piece of art that is more than just a painting, but an heirloom that will be cherished for generations.

Congratulations to Justin Bolus on his promotion to Wholesale Fuel Director! Justin quickly distinguished himself as an analytical and results driven member of the team when he came on board 6 years ago. From a Territory Sales Rep to Sales Manager and now the Wholesale Fuel Director, he continues to develop processes and provide solutions that make Bumgarner Oil more successful!

He will be overseeing both the Dealer Sales Division, Commercial Fuel Sales, and Bulk Plant Operations.

October Safe Drivers of the Month 👏 Our Short Truck Division officially rolled out their Safe Driver of the Month program last month. Congrats to Tipton Deitz!

We had 3 winners on the Transport Division side between our full-time and part-time guys. Congrats to Zach, David, and JR!

Congratulations to Christopher Sutton for being promoted to Assistant Controller in our Accounting Department! He has stepped up to take ownership over various projects throughout our software transition and continues to look for ways to develop his skills.

Christopher's primary functions in his new roll will be the oversight of our Transport and Propane divisions' financial performances.

A group of Bumgarner Oil Ladies attended the Inaugural Event a couple weeks ago! There were two engaging speakers as well as various opportunities to network with women across the state in the petroleum industry.

The event took place at the beautiful and historic Berry Hill Resort in South Boston, Virginia. These women left feeling inspired and excited about the future for women in this amazing industry!
