Francesca has been a patient of A Step Ahead Prosthetics since 2016. As an above-knee amputee, she received her first custom-made, hyper-realistic silicone prosthetic thanks to the LSK Foundation. This nonprofit helps girls and women obtain cosmetic coverings for prostheses. Working with Erik, the owner and head prosthetist, and Ingrid, the head anaplastologist at ASAP, Francesca was able to create a highly detailed and color-matched replica of her residual limb. Francesca was thrilled with the result - a stunning and hyper-realistic prosthesis perfectly matched her skin color and looked incredibly natural! 🦶🏿🦶🏾🦶🏽🦶🏼🦶🏻
