Purple leaf, Kozyard Alexander, Erommy, Domi, Malcomm and other gazebos all just took the plans from Sojag, copied it and made their own. Now, I'm not saying the others aren't good gazebos. It's just that the Sojag, in my opinion, look the nicest, go together the best and rarely do we have any problems. Like damages/scratches.

I post a lot about gazebos, which are great but let's take a look at Pergolas. Before a couple years ago, to me, they were nothing more than a bit of shading to sit under. Never really liked the concept IMO.

Now though, they started to make what are called Louvered Pergolas. Basically, with the simple crank of a pole, you have the option of opening and closing your roof. The crank either closes the roof completely, making it waterproof. Any water that accumulates up top, travels to the included gutter system and down the posts. Don't believe me, check out the 9th Pic where we were working in the rain and not a drop came in. Or it gives you the option of sitting more in the sun while also giving you a bit more air.

Nosey neighbors? Hansø Homes gots you covered, literally! They sells screens that pull up and down effortlessly, giving you privacy from all sides. These are definitely impressive.

Gazebos are still great and much more popular, but I think pergolas may gain some share in the future. They're sleek, versatile, modern looking and do the exact same thing as a gazebo with options. It definitely can get quite hot inside a gazebo when the sun is shining directly on them. Check these out from Hansø Homes, Purple leaf and Sorara .

It's HOT out there but who wants to sit inside all summer? There's nothing better than being outside as much as you can during the summer, sometimes you just need a little something to block out the sun. Or a big something. Costco recently called us to assemble/install some of their display pieces! When you want your gazebo to look like it's intended to, it's very simple, you contact B&B's!

These are quite difficult to assemble for the average person having almost 1500 screws, 150 different pieces of metal and wood and weighing in at almost 800lbs. It's not something you want to 'try and tackle over the weekend'. We will make it look easy but it is not. This one we had to do somewhat fast because of time restraints and got it done in the little time we had and it came out perfect as usual!

This is the 12x14' Grand Gazebo by Yardistry and its a beautiful gazebo. You will own this for at least 20 years in my opinion. The price is incredible when compared to other gazebos since the quality of a Yardistry so far is unmatched in my opinion. I have a feeling we're going to be very busy with these this summer! Today was an absolutely beautiful day. As of right now I don't have any Yardistry gazebos booked! That will most likely change but If this is the last one of the season, so be it! What a way it would be to finish up the outside season with this beautiful backyard that has not 1 but 2 yardistry gazebos there! One with the privacy Wall. Which I think looks great!

Just had a memory pop up on my feed. The first picture is the Besta/Framsta from IKEA from 10 years ago. Although they don't make the glass paneling behind the TV anymore, the rest of it is still in production. Completely customizable to fit your needs. Most of these units are "floating" off the floor but they don't have to. They can sit right on the floor like any other TV Unit.

Side note. I really loved the glass paneling behind the TV but they stopped making them because they didn't sell good in Europe. Here in the states though we were installing these all the time and they
were very popular but extremely tricky to install.
I guess IKEA goes by what Europe is buying and not what's being bought here..

Need space for all your clothes and shoes? Who doesn't! IKEA is known for their space saving solutions. They get a bad rap because people do not install them correctly. That's why with furniture like that, you always call the pros. The "Pax" line from IKEA or closets made by Closets Made Easy are two great options to choose from for customizable ready to assemble closets.

Why spend 20k on custom closets when you can spend a quarter of that and get exactly what you want anyway?!

I have Pax closets and I have never had a problem. Have had them for over 10 years. It's also nice to know that if something does go wrong, like a drawer breaking from overstuffing, you can always just shoot on over to IKEA to replace the drawer..

Happy Father's day to all the fathers out there. If you're like me, you probably need some more outdoor storage space for all the outdoor stuff.

Sheds can be easy to assemble. Especially the smaller ones. But the bigger ones are extremely tedious and actually quite annoying to assemble the first couple times. The worst part is there are a few ways for you to make a simple mistake or overlook one simple thing which turns this into an absolute catastrophy. You may miss something so small, where you don't find out until just about the end and then you have to take the entire thing apart. It's awesome when it happens. 😂 But that's never happened to us though. 😉

Anyway, to the fathers out there who need that extra storage, treat yourself and have us assemble it for you. Have a beer and watch us do it and imagine how much fun it wouldn't have been to do this. Especially on a nice warm day. We won't mind. 😂 Most of you guys deserve it! Happy fathers day! Here are some sheds we've done

Backyard Discovery is known for their swingsets but they also make and as well. They are quality gazebos that are made from 100% cedar, just like the much talked about . But like the Yardistry, you need a minimum of three people to install them. It even comes with its own power port. Very convenient.

I was at a customers home, building his gazebo and he asked me if I can build a shed over his pool filter system/pool heater. I took a quick glance and said sure we can do anything 🙄. When I came back a couple weeks later, the pool filter system magically quadrupled in size. Either that or I just didn't look at it enough while being preoccupied with the gazebo. Yea, it was probably that.

If you have an eyesore in your backyard and want it out of sight/out of mind. This could work for you! Or if you just want a nice shed, here is the 8x7' . I had to cut the flooring out to fit. Wasn't hard but I priced it totally wrong so the customer definitely scored on this one. But sometimes you just gotta 😎 . I'd rather a happy customer, than possibly having a disagreement over a few bucks. I don't raise prices on my customers once I give them the price. A lot of companies bait and switch you. Not us. Especially if it's my fault for not looking over the project enough. My goal is to have you use my company for LIFE. Arguing over money isn't going to help that become a reality.

Check this out! Fenwick Gazebo! Another beautiful gazebo being sold at or online at .

Second tier roof is made of polycarbonate. Which is hard plastic. Which is something I'm usually not crazy about. But in this case it's cool. It let's in a little sun and if it gets damaged by something hitting it. It's not the hardest thing to fix.

Really nicely made! 12" Concrete form tube under the footing that's placed on the lawn, you can't even tell!

If you're thinking about getting a gazebo, there a bunch of sales at Costco and BJ's. The Paragon Santa Monica is the one I'll do a little showcase on today. This is personally one of my Favorites. It's sleek, pretty and sturdy. Thats all you want in a gazebo. I haven't seen many people buy these. I think they were only sold at fortunoff and online. But now these will be on sale at Costco as of 5/18. The gazebo comes in 10x12', 12x14' 12x16' and 12x20'. So whatever size you need, they got it covered. The roof is made up of a composite material unlike the rest of the black steel/aluminum roofs out there. This ones different and it's nice! Message us here to have us install it for you!

So today's Spotlight Gazebo - The
Messina 12x14' in champagne

It's a beautiful ! I love the cream color posts and the roof is somewhat of a light gray. I think not only is it very nice looking, I also don't think it will get as hot under this gazebo in middle of the summer. That's a huge plus I think. I actually have a (different style but very similar) and I've had it for 4 going on 5 years and not a problem yet. So Sojag is certainly recommended. I also hooked mine up with the works. TV, mini fridge, Futon and more comfy furniture. I even put a portable AC in there (didn't work very well)

There are a few other gazebos on the market that are identical to this in every way. These other gazebos I will review on another day. The other gazebos that are similar, don't have this quality. Made in Canada, its an overall great gazebo.

It is officially season! That's right, this winter is OVER! It's just about March 1st and time to get ready for . Don't wait too long or you'll be getting the last choices as plenty of the better selling gazebos sold out somewhat quick last year. We did this today. This is the new gazebo from . It's the Yardistry 12x14' grand gazebo with aluminum roof. Came out amazing! Check down the page for pictures of all different gazebos and furniture.

This is from our redo of the on a few years ago. They called us! Why? Because we know what we're doing. If you want your home to look like the showroom, call us! Don't end up like the first picture with a big OOPS in your living room.

We everything! Not just gazebos or outside stuff! I feel like all we post about, is about this gazebo or that . But here's some indoor we've assembled lately. Some was for a wonderful customer of ours who's been using us for over 10 years! We LOVE our return customers and want every single one of our customers to be customers for life. Also, It's nice to get out of the heat here and there.

There's a new gazebo selling at . Unless I'm wrong, I've never seen this one before. Beautiful! And it's got flower boxes on each post for a nice touch. This gazebo is called the "Wilmington" by Sunjoy. It is 14.8 ft. L x 13.3 ft. W x 10 ft. H. It's Big, it's beautiful and it's solidly made. It is sold at Costco for sure but maybe other places as well. It has a wood looking finish but it is aluminum and steel. This one was assembled in Dix Hills, NY

Yardistry gazebo - 12x14'. I made a top 10 gazebo list back in March and I stand by it today. Yardistry is the best. It's not something an average person can install though. It's got 1500 screws, 99 pieces of wood (i counted) and almost 50 roof pieces. Weighing over 700lbs.

This gazebo we installed on Thursday morning in the rain but when you're booked, you're booked. At this time, we don't have the option to just say we'll do it tomorrow, it's more like we'll do it in three weeks. And that's unacceptable. Especially if the customer has already waited a while. Rain or shine we will get it done. This one was in Smithtown, NY, in a beautiful backyard. But one thing was missing. THIS. I just wish I took more pics.

Anyway, this morning we installed a Sojag Messina - 12x12' gazebo. In "champagne" color. It's really like a gray top and a cream base. Don't see these too often but I love them. The black ones keep in the heat too much, this was a great idea on their part to make a lighter colored one to block out the sun.

Unfortunately though, as the customer and us were talking about how great Sojag is, (which they are 99.9% of the time) we noticed Sojag didn't pack enough hardware 😱, so we had to run down to the new Trio Hardware with hopes and dreams of them having 225 of the same oddball screw. Well, amazingly they did and we were able to get it done. So shout out to Trio Hardware & Paint in Plainview for allowing us to make another customer happy! The pics are from today's gazebo and another "champagne" colored, Sojag Messina, that we have installed recently.

Never buy a gazebo with a Polycarbonate roof. The entire roof weighs about 5lbs and if a branch or anything hits it, it will dent or break it.
