Congratulations to Perry Sharpe with the Fleet Services Department who was recently selected as the 2021 Outstanding High School Apprentice award winner from ApprenticeshipNC. Perry will be recognized at the virtual award ceremony on April 27, 2021. Perry has been with the department since July, 2020 and is currently a senior at Eastern Guilford High School.
The mission of ApprenticeshipNC is to ensure North Carolina has an innovative, relevant, effective and efficient workforce-development system that develops adaptable, work-ready, skilled talent to meet the current and future needs of workers and businesses.
