We exist to serve, empower, and minister to clients in order to prevent and end hunger and homelessness through advocacy, education, housing, and coordination of services. Open Door Ministries of High Point provides help for those in need through our emergency services help and food pantry, Father's Table Food Kitchen, or Open Door Shelter, an emergency shelter for men.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to serving our community’s needy and less fortunate individuals and families. We are committed to administering assistance in practical ways and fostering self-sufficiency in our clients. Our programs and services are solution oriented and ministry minded. They include the operation of a homeless shelter, serving daily meals, distributing non-perishable food items, obtaining permanent housing, obtaining and maintaining permanent jobs and helping people regain their lives through supportive services and emergency assistance to create a new healthy lifestyle.
