Today is Veteran's Day and I can't leave today without sharing some of those who have served or who are serving in the military.

A week ago, I had a mentoring session with one of my favorite photographers. I learned so much more about newborn photography-wrapping better, posing faster, and being okay with being creative, safety and lighting, how to get them ready for their session when they arrive, etc.

No matter what you do in life, get a mentor. Do a mentorship, or shadow someone in the field you are in and look up to. It will only elevate your work.

It's been a while, so I wanted to say hi! 👋 I'm Jessica. I have been studying the art of photography since 2001. I absolutely love every side of it, but photographing families, especially newborns, is my favorite.

I am also a wife to my husband of 20 years and am a mom with 4 amazing and fun kids. I love being able to meet new people, and once you meet me, you know that I love talking all things family. Your family, my family, family history, etc. I can't help it. Family is everything.
