We are looking forward to welcoming our Wildcat families to our Open House / Meet and Greet on Tuesday (8/13) from 5-7:30 PM.

For our families new to Weaver, we are holding an informational meeting in the Main Gym at 6:30 PM.

Thank you to our amazing PTO for their hard work and for organizing this event for our Wildcat families! The Open House/Meet & Greet will give students and parents/guardians an opportunity to tour Weaver, visit classrooms, and meet the WMS Staff. There will also be music, food trucks, spirit wear, and more. We hope you can join us to kickoff the 24-25 school year at WMS!

As a reminder, Weaver is turning 30 this year! We are looking forward to celebrating this milestone throughout the year.

Our CAT Day sessions were a huge success! We loved seeing our Wildcats and their families back at WMS. A special thank you to Davidson students for volunteering and helping our students navigate 4600 Avery Road. It is a great day to be a Wildcat!

⚪️WMS Open House / Meet and Greet on Tuesday (8/13) from 5-7:30 PM. Join us for our back to school event with food trucks and meeting the WMS staff! Thank you to our incredible PTO for organizing! This month's Embrace, Empower, and Inspire Award goes to 5 incredible staff members at Weaver Middle School. Chelsey Summer, Abby Gischel, Rachel Thompson, Neil Ferreri, and Officer Gleason took extraordinary actions in helping to save the life of a student who was choking in the cafeteria. They demonstrated exceptional courage, quick thinking, and remarkable composure in a life-threatening situation, going above and beyond.

Their actions are a testament to their dedication to the safety and well-being of our students. Their ability to remain calm under pressure and apply their training in an emergency situation not only saved a life but also exemplified the qualities of a true hero and role model within our school community.

Today and always, we would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Hicks, Mrs. Stacy, Mrs. Hehemann, and Mrs. Wohlers for all they do for Weaver Middle School. They are essential members of our team; we are beyond fortunate to have them at WMS!

We loved celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with the BEST staff! Today and always, we are beyond thankful for all they do for our Wildcats. Thank you to our incredible PTO and Weaver community for lunch and treats throughout the week! Go Cats!

Congratulations to Ms. Locke, Mr. McClelland, Mrs. Kennedy, and Officer Gleason who are retiring at the end of this school year! With their dedicated years of service, they have truly made a difference to Hilliard City Schools. Without a doubt, they will be missed at WMS!

We are proud to recognize staff members this spring! Congratulations to Mr. Salyer on 25 years in education and receiving the Lifetime Achievement Recognition at WMS! (You can see other staff members with this recognition on the TV near the Main Office!)

Thanks to our Weaver PTO for our incredible spring social! We are beyond grateful for their time and hard work. Thank you to our Wildcat community for the donations, too! With 300+ students attending, 4600 Avery Road was full of Wildcat energy! Go Cats!

We are so impressed by the talent of our Wildcats! 🎶 We are looking forward to our spring concerts. Orchestra started us off! Go Cats!

Proud of the partnership with our students, Weaver PTO, and Wildcat Community! Our National Junior Honor Society students helped our PTO clean up the courtyard last month. Thank you to everyone who helped support! We are working together to make this a great space for our Wildcats!
