DESIGN THINKING: An epic gift-giving experience. We were introduced to the design thinking model of problem solving. We have to create a gift for a classmate. This is what PROTOTYPING looks like.

Our daily word study time is a chance to study word patterns. Today, students are doing a speed sort to see how fast and accurately they can sort their words.

Today we used Ozobots. These little things helps use learn the basics of coding, problem-solving and perseverance. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Ozobot Thanksgiving Day parade.

Our school counselor, Mr. Williams, can to our classroom to teach us a very important lesson. “Words are like toothpaste. What comes out of your mouth, you can't put it back in. Sometimes saying I’m Sorry Isn’t good enough.”

We always end our day with a Flock Meeting, where we discuss our highs and lows for the day. It’s also a great way to build that sense of belonging.
