Auntie MiMi’s Crafts and Creations
Just a bunch of stuff I make to stay out of my own head. Some things are custom, some aren’t.

Photo Dump. Got a little behind with graduation parties and birthday parties. Here are some prints from the last month. ☺️
I know Autism Awareness month is over, but really why is there only awareness for one month???
Any proceeds from these dragons (approximately 10”) or the keychains, will go to Autism Awareness. 🧩
I have a few of each available and can print up more as needed. ♥️
Made a tip jar for some awesome friends! They are opening a donut wagon in June called The Cosmic Donut Company. I cannot wait! I have sampled some and they are seriously the best donuts you will ever put in your mouth! Go give their page a follow and get ready to try their donuts for yourself and don’t forget to tip and help sponsor a shelter dog! 🐾👽🛸🍩

Where are all my readers? I absolutely love this little gadget!
Why are 3D prints so expensive?
1) The printer is expensive. Sure you can buy used ones, my first of 4 printers was bought at a yardsale for $50! But, they don’t just plug in and print. They need to be constantly adjusted and new nozzles, new beds, etc… not to mention the “3D spaghetti” that people don’t see. Lots of failed prints and wasted filament.
2) The print files, yes there are a lot of free files, but the really good files cost money. Then to sell those prints, there are more costs involved because you have to get rights to sell. I have a lot of Patreon accounts that cost money every month so that I can sell the prints legally.
3) When you create your own custom prints, there is a lot of time involved & a lot of failed prints along the way in getting those prints solid.
4) Filament is not cheap and there are multiple types to be used. PLA, PLA+, PLA High Speed, Pteg, ABS, Silk, etc…. Then there is the filament dryer box that costs more. The “poop” (wasted filament) when you print multi-color prints, etc…
5) AND Shop fees if you put your items for sale in a shop.
Yes, anyone can do 3D printing. Yes, Temu sells for pennies on the dollar. Yes, 3D prints are EVERYWHERE nowadays… BUT, are they doing it correctly and or legally?
Just something to think about when you see an item in a shop and think “wow, that’s a lot of money for that”…. Us 3D crafters that do it right, don’t make a killing. We barely break even, but we love what we do!
Thank you to my customers and future customers! ♥️
