Iโm David Yassa and Iโve always believed that sometimes, even when youโre moving very quickly, you need to make time to slow down, step back, look for opportunities for growth, and risks for challenges so you can create a plan to help you move forward even faster. When I was looking into opening my own business, I found that The Growth Coachโs mission and programs were very much in line with my own beliefs and recipes for success, which is why I decided to launch The Growth Coach of Portland, Oregon.
On an international level, The Growth Coach is the largest provider of affordable group coaching workshops. Our coaches around the world offer group and one-on-one coaching for business owners, sales professionals, managers, management teams, self-employed professionals, and more through three distinct series โ the Foundation Series, Fundamental Series, and Fast Forward Series. As The Growth Coach of Portland, I work with business owners, leaders, and teams in the Portland Metro Area, Beaverton, Bethany, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, and the surrounding areas.
Before opening The Growth Coach, I was an active member and leader in the medical device industry. I built, managed, and led marketing and sales teams across different countries. I have experience in leading marketing and sales activities, launching and managing products, managing trade-shows, managing strategic accounts, building and sustaining relations with key opinion leaders โ including C-Suite executives, and owning and controlling the Profit and Loss statements of different teams in different countries. Throughout my career, Iโve had a proven track record in sustaining double-digit compound annual growth rate. I always believe that my biggest achievement is leading and helping different teams to work effectively and in harmony growing the annual revenues of their companies by multiple folds. I am bilingual and I have an Executive MBA degree from Hult International Business School, where I graduated with honors. Iโm also certified in The Growth Coachโs Strategic Mindset coaching process.
My passion has always been to help people learn, grow, succeed, and then continue to grow. Iโm hungry for that growth, not only for myself but for my colleagues, employees, and the companies I work with. Iโm looking forward to putting that to work as a Growth Coach and helping business owners and leaders in my community find success and balance. My wife Mariam, who is a theater set designer, and I have two kids, Adam and Leo and we live in Portland, Oregon.
