We have retired from breeding Pygoras…and any other animals. We still have one REW English Angora buck rabbit 🐇 that we love but don’t need alongside our two does. We are willing to part with him for $25 to a very suitable home, preferably one with a spinner/spinster. Text me at 636-208-8079, & I’ll send you a picture. I just can’t figure out how to get a picture on here. …See comments for photo.

All of our goats 🐐, except the two old ladies that we plan to let expire here, have been sold. Praise God for that! We are down to 3 rabbits. I would really like to sell one. It is a Red-Eyed White English Angora🐇. We are selling the rabbit for $75 💵.

I just love all the people that I meet through our goats and now through our rabbits, too. Please know that, if I met you because of our goats or English Angora Rabbits, I really enjoyed it! Goat people are just really neat people!

Update: we have an appointment with a prospective buyer for Kudzu and Curly Dock this weekend. Pray for us that God will give them a happy, healthy, new home! I’m sorry that, if this goes through, they will be unavailable as “little buddies”. We do still have our wether, Stinky, who is a great “big buddy” for bucks. We have someone talking about Allie, our Capora doe. Pray something comes of that. I’m so anxious for her to have a home that will appreciate her and use her fleece in some way. She’s more awesome than most people seem to understand. We’re very slowly whittling down. That’s why we started early. We also have 2 beautiful “grand dames”, Honeydew & Lily of the Valley. They, along with Honeydew’s kid, Curly Dock, are the last of my unregistered stock. We are not selling them. They are each 17 years old, born and raised here at Honeysuckle Haven. This is where they will die. I so appreciate their many years of love and service! So many experiences with them!!! We also still have our good, twin bucks, Dandelion and Fleece Flower 🌺. Let me know if you’re interested in anything we have left or want to be put on a Contingency Waiting List for those that are being checked into. Call if I don’t answer your message.

Our wonderful boy, Nightshade, has gone to the perfect new home and is bringing us 8 goats closer to our necessary goal of goat independence. We have his 2 beautiful and good-natured twin sons still available as well as his cute baby wether. Oh! We would SO love to keep Nightshade and keep on goating! I know he will have a great and happy life, though, with Brett Soucie! Congratulations, Brette!

We have sold well over half of our goats only due to our health conditions. We love and miss every one. We sold our Nubian milk goat to a nice couple yesterday. They are good and she’s happy, but I’m mourning her! It’s really hard to be so close to a big, warm goatie every day and then to sell her. She was so sweet! We still have sweet, handsome Twin Bucks, who can go alone. They are registered Pygora Breeders Association bucks born and bred here, Honeysuckle Haven Fiber Farm, Honeysuckle Haven Dandelion 19-42M and Honeysuckle Haven Fleece Flower 🌺 19-43M for $400 each. They will make wonderful herd sires. Also registered wether, Honeysuckle Haven Kudzu 21-13W for $200. We also have registered Capora Mist Kissed Mountain Allegro FB-PCA Goat Registration for $300. We have unregistered Pygora-type 5 yr old wether beautiful cream/light caramel Stinkweed for $200 & unregistered Capora-type baby wether Curly Dock for $120. All have Type B fleece except Curly Dock, who has Type C. Descriptions of Pygora fleece types are available online (Google). Just PM me for more info if you like.

On the way to the Driftless Region Pygora Goat show in Northern Iowa. We’re looking forward to meeting the buyers of our two foundation herd dams and two adorable little clowns. All are Pygora or Capora-like fleece goats. We also have a beautiful, very brown baby goat for a good friend of mine. We got a late start even though I was up before 4pm! I think it will be fun. Oh yes, we’re bringing Nightshade, too!

We bought an old 2-horse trailer to transport the registered part of our herd to the Driftless Region Pygora Show in July. Now, trying to get it titled and licensed (TN doesn’t require that but MO does) is quite an ordeal! Who knows whether we will get that in time for the show. Troop C and the License Office said that starting the process counts for something, at least. We discovered when trying to title it that the ID numbers were nowhere to be found, by us nor Troop C! It has 4 new tires, and Brad will put new plywood inside. It can do the job and get them there.

The Homestead life! The goat is Lily, who is 17 and sharing her feed with a chicken 🐓. The goose is Butterfly. She loves Brad because he fills her little pool.

Gentlemen, we have touchdown!! Greystone Poppy has had her kids (sire is Bohemian Creek Farm Nightshade!)! They are two coal black kids! They can stand and walk well, but I couldn’t get them to do it for the picture. They’re too tired. (The girl is on the right. The boy is on the left.). Poppy is being a very concerned and attentive mommy.
